Lori Olson-Johns
Lori Olson-Johns (born Lori Olson on November 24, 1976) is a Canadian curler from Edmonton, Alberta. From 2014–2018, she played third for Val Sweeting and with Sweeting, finished runner-up at the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and won two grand slam events (the 2016 and 2017 Tour Challenge). Curling career 1992–2000 Olson-Johns is a three-time Alberta junior champion. Her first national experience was playing second stones for Rhonda Sinclair at the 1992 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. The team would finish round robin with a 7–4 record, finding themselves in a tiebreaker. They would end up losing the tiebreaker to Quebec's Janique Berthelot. In 1995 Olson-Johns would return to the championships, playing third for Jodi Lee. The team finished round robin with a 5–6 record. Jennifer Sadleir
Jennifer Sadleir (born Jennifer Vejprava on January 10, 1981 in Calgary, Alberta) is a Canadian curler. She previously played lead for Cheryl Bernard out of the Calgary Curling Club in Calgary. Curling career 1997–2010 Sadleir is a three time Alberta Junior Champion winning in 1998, 2000 and 2002. At the 2000 Canadian Juniors, playing as a second, her team finished the Canadian Junior Championship with a bronze medal. At the 2002 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, she would skip Alberta to a 7-5 round robin record, missing the playoffs. 2012 Alberta Scotties Tournament Of Hearts
The 2012 Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Alberta's women's provincial curling championship, was held from January 25 to 29 at the Leduc Curling Club in Leduc, Alberta. The winning team of Heather Nedohin, represented Alberta at the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer, Alberta, where they finished round robin with a 7-4 record, which was enough to finish 4th place and clinch a spot in the playoffs. The team would go on to win both the 3-4 game and the semi-final. They would face British Columbia in the final, where for the first time in fourteen years, Alberta would win the Scotties. Cheryl Bernard
Cheryl Bernard (born June 30, 1966) is a Canadian curler from Calgary, Alberta. She represented Team Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics as the team's skip, winning the silver medal in women's curling after falling to Sweden in the final. Her first major tournament win came at the 2009 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials in Edmonton, Alberta. Career Early career Bernard was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta. She began curling at the age of eight. In 1988, she lost in the Alberta provincial finals; however, four years later she would win the provincial title, earning a berth at the 1992 Scott Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national curling championship with her team of Allison Earl, Barb Davies and Bev Kellerman. 2009 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials
The 2009 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials were held December 6–13, 2009 at Rexall Place in Edmonton. The event is also known and advertised as ''Roar of the Rings''. The winner of the men's and women's events represented Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Canada was guaranteed a team in each event as hosts. Canadian Olympic qualification process For both men's and women's categories, a pool of sixteen teams is designated as eligible to be Canada's representative at the 2010 Olympics. Crystal Webster
Crystal Webster (born as Crystal Rumberg on February 26, 1975, in Medicine Hat, Alberta) is a Canadian curler from Calgary, Alberta. Career Juniors Webster made her national curling debut at the 1994 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. This would be her first and only appearance at the junior championships. She was skipping her own team, representing Alberta at the championship. They would miss the playoffs, finishing round robin with a 6–5 record. 1998–2001 In 1998 Webster joined up with and played lead for Calgary skip Cheryl Bernard. 2006 Scott Tournament Of Hearts
The 2006 Scott Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's curling championship, was held at the John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario, February 25, 2006 – March 6, 2006. The tournament consists of 12 teams, one from each of Canada's provinces, one from Canada's territories and the defending champion, whose team is known as Team Canada. The tournament was the 25th anniversary of the Hearts. The winner would be Kelly Scott's British Columbia rink who defeated the defending champions, Jennifer Jones in the final. Jennifer Ann Hanna (born January 22, 1980) is a Canadian curler from Nepean, Ontario. She curls out of the Ottawa Curling Club. She was a finalist in both the 1998 Canadian Junior Curling Championship and the . Career Early competitive career Hanna competed at the 1998 Canadian Juniors, losing in the final to New Brunswick's Melissa McClure. Despite this, she was named as the tournament's second team all-star skip. In 2002, as a second for Anne Merklinger, Hanna finished second at the Ontario Championships. The 2005 Scott Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's curling championship, was held at Mile One Stadium in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador from February 19 to 27, 2005. The tournament included 12 teams, one from each of Canada's provinces, one from Canada's territories and the defending champion Colleen Jones, whose team was known as Team Canada. Oddly, Jones' team is the only returning team from the 2004 Scott Tournament of Hearts as all other provincial champions lost in their playdowns. Cathy King
Cathy King (born September 3, 1959), formerly Cathy Borst (Cathy's married name was Borst - when she divorced she went back to her maiden name of King) is a Canadian curler from St. Albert, Alberta. She is a former Canadian champion skip and world championship bronze medallist, and 2013 world senior champion. Curling career King was a national junior champion in 1977 and 1978, before there was a women's world junior championship. In 1988, she played for Alberta at the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship, losing in the final. She has been in seven Scotties Tournament of Hearts (1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2005, and 2006).
