Loreta Hairapedian Tabrizi ( hy, Լորետա Հայրապետեան; Persian: لرتا هايراپتيان تبريزى) was an Iranian Armenian stage and film actress. Biography Loreta was born as Loreta Hairapedian Tabrizi in 1911 in Tehran. Following a succession of roles in performances of William Shakespeare directed by Vahram Arsen Papazian, she married the well-known stage director Abdolhossein Noushin and later joined the Iran Club of Theater. There, she appeared in grand scale performances of such plays as ''Othello'', ''Volpone'', ''The Blue Bird'' and ''Gas Light''. In 1933, she married Abdol Hossein Noushin. In 1953 Loreta traveled abroad together with her husband following the 1953 coup d'etát, and the couple lived in Moscow for several years, where they both entered education; Loreta entered the acting school of the Moscow State University ( Moscow Art Theatre), while her husband studied for a PhD in philology at the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute. Loreta Anilionytė (born in Kaunas) is a Lithuanian philosopher, writer and translator. She is an associate Professor of Ethics and Philosophy of the Lithuanian University of Educology and a Ph.D. of Lithuanian Culture Research Institute (formerly of Philosophy, Sociology and Law Institute). She graduated from Vilnius University, Lithuanian language and literature. In 1991 she received her Ph.D. in history of German philosophy and ethics ("The Problem of Values in Kant and Scheler ethics"). There are many published works including scientific articles and books, a novel, and essays, in her bibliography. Anilionytė is the author of a highly controversial novel about the relationship between high culture and popular culture ''O kas po to?'' (''And what then?''). Loreta Janeta Velázquez
Loreta Janeta (June 26, 1842 – 1923), was an American woman who wrote that she had masqueraded as a male Confederate soldier during the American Civil War. The book she wrote about her experiences says that after her soldier husband's accidental death, she enlisted in the Confederate States Army in 1861. She then fought at First Battle of Bull Run, Bull Run, Battle of Ball's Bluff, Ball's Bluff, and Battle of Fort Donelson, Fort Donelson, but was discharged when her sex was discovered while in Capture of New Orleans, New Orleans. Undeterred, she reenlisted and fought at Battle of Shiloh, Shiloh, until unmasked once more. She then became a Confederate spy, working in both male and female guises, and as a double agent also reporting to the U.S. Secret Service.
