Mersch is a canton in the centre of Luxembourg. It is the only canton, other than Luxembourg, to be entirely surrounded by other cantons, and therefore not to have an international boundary. Kehlen ( lb, Kielen ) is a commune and town in western Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Capellen. As of the February 1, 2011 census, the commune had a population of 5,048. , the town of Kehlen, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 1,627.
