Lorain County Joint Vocational School is a public vocational school in Oberlin, Ohio. LCJVS primarily serves 13 school districts located in Lorain County, with parts of Erie and Huron counties also covered. Altogether the school's main campus has an enrollment of about 1,000 high school junior and seniors, while about 300 students study at satellite locations in their member districts. Oberlin is a city in Lorain County, Ohio, United States, 31 miles southwest of Cleveland. Oberlin is the home of Oberlin College, a liberal arts college and music conservatory with approximately 3,000 students. The town is the birthplace of the Anti-Saloon League and the Hall-Héroult process, the process of reducing aluminum from its fluoride salts by electrolysis, which made industrial production of aluminum possible. The population was 8,286 at the 2010 census. History Oberlin was founded in 1833 by two Presbyterian ministers, John Jay Shipherd and Philo P. Stewart. The school is located in Henrietta Township (at 10643 Vermilion Road) and serves the townships of Brownhelm, Camden, Florence (in Erie County), Henrietta, New Russia, and the village of South Amherst.

Elyria High School
Elyria High School is a public high school in Elyria, Ohio. Founded in 1830, it is notable for being the first chartered high school west of the Allegheny Mountains. Elyria High School athletic teams are known as the Pioneers and compete in the Southwestern Conference. In 2007, Elyria passed Issue 7 allowing for a new high school to be built. All but the Washington building were demolished. A new athletic wing, academic building, cafeteria, and performing arts wing were all built, including a Performing Arts Center. Clearview High School (CHS) is a public high school located in Lorain, Ohio, United States. It is part of the Clearview Local School District, one of five school districts serving the city of Lorain and all of Sheffield Township, Ohio. Clearview High School houses students in grades 9-12.
