Loni Peristere
Loni Peristere () is an American television director, producer, and former visual effects supervisor. He is well known for his work on the Cinemax drama ''Banshee''; and for the FX anthology series ''American Horror Story''. Career He began his career as a visual effects coordinator for the 1997 Tommy Lee Jones starrer ''Volcano''. He worked in the department on future films, such as ''Cinderella'', ''Serenity'', ''Beyond'', and ''One Day Like Rain''. He worked in special effects for TV series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'', ''Angel'', ''Firefly'' (for which he won an emmy), and ''Drive''. In 2014, Peristere segued into direction. Helming and producing multiple episodes of Cinemax's ''Banshee''. That same year he began directing for FX's ''American Horror Story''. They specialize in visual effects for feature films, episodic television, commercials, video games, advertising design, and interactive online media. History Zoic Studios is an Emmy Award-winning visual effects company based in Culver City, California with separate sister facilities in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and New York City. It is a studio of creative artists, producers, and engineers. Zoic Studios was founded by five partners in 2002 and began as a 15-person company working out of the Sunset Gower Studios lot. ''Outcast'' is an American horror drama television series based on the comics of the same name by Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta. A ten-episode first season debuted on Cinemax on June 3, 2016. It is a supernatural horror story that features people involved in demonic possession, and revolves around the life of Kyle Barnes, who is rejected by the people of Rome, West Virginia, for allegedly hurting his wife and daughter. On March 14, 2016, ahead of its premiere, ''Outcast'' was renewed for a second season. The second season premiered on Fox in the UK on April 3, 2017, and concluded on June 5, 2017. It began airing in the United States on July 20, 2018, and concluded on September 28, 2018. On October 2, 2018, it was announced that Cinemax had officially cancelled the series.
