Longus
Longus, sometimes Longos ( el, Λόγγος), was the author of an ancient Greek novel or romance, ''Daphnis and Chloe''. Nothing is known of his life; it is assumed that he lived on the isle of Lesbos (setting for ''Daphnis and Chloe'') during the 2nd century AD. It has been suggested that the name Longus is merely a misinterpretation of the first word of ''Daphnis and Chloes title ''Λεσβιακῶν ἐρωτικῶν λόγοι'' ("story of a Lesbian romance", "Lesbian" for "from Lesbos island") in the Florentine manuscript; EE Seiler observes that the best manuscript begins and ends with ''λόγου'' (not ''λόγγου'') ''ποιμενικῶν''. If his name was really Longus, he was possibly a freedman of some Roman family which bore that name as a cognomen. Kalayaan, Laguna
Kalayaan, officially the Municipality of Kalayaan ( tgl, Bayan ng Kalayaan), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 24,755 people. Kalayaan is in the fourth district of the province of Laguna and can be reached three hours by land from Manila. It is the home of approximately 24,214 citizenry. The municipality is home to a hydroelectric power plant, the only pumped storage facility in the Philippines, the Kalayaan Pumped Storage Power Plant located in Brgy. Longos, Achaea
Loggos ( el, Λόγγος) is a village in the municipal unit of Aigialeia in the northeastern part of Achaea in the Peloponnese, Greece. The villages Loggos and Selianitika (adjacent to the southeast) share a beautiful beach on the Gulf of Corinth which is approximately 1.5 km long. Both villages are among the most popular summer destinations of Achaea. Loggos is 2 km east of Kamares, 4 km northwest of Rododafni and 7 km northwest of Aigio. Cabangan, officially the Municipality of Cabangan, is a 4th class municipality in the province of Zambales, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 28,118 people. Cabangan is from Iba, from Olongapo, and from Manila. History Cabangan is a coastal town that was originally located in Barrio San Isidro.
