"Long Time Coming" is a song by American rock band Cheap Trick, which was released in 2017 as the only single from their eighteenth studio album ''We're All Alright!''. It was written by Robin Zander, Rick Nielsen, Tom Petersson and Julian Raymond, and produced by Raymond and Cheap Trick. Released as a promotional single in the United States, "Long Time Coming" reached No. 36 on the ''Billboard'' Mainstream Rock chart. The song also reached No. 1 on the Mediabase Classic Rock Airplay chart. "Long Time Coming" was released in April 2017, prior to the album's June release date. In addition to being issued as a promotional single, it was made available as an instant download with all pre-orders of the digital version of the album. Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick is an American rock band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 1973 by guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, lead vocalist Robin Zander and drummer Bun E. Carlos. The current lineup of the band consists of Zander, Nielsen and Petersson. Cheap Trick released their self-titled debut album in 1977 and, later that year, found success in Japan with the release of their second album, '' In Color''. The band would achieve mainstream popularity in the United States in 1979 with their breakthrough album ''Cheap Trick at Budokan''. Scott Borchetta (born July 3, 1962) is an American record executive and founder of the Big Machine Label Group. He started the label in 2005 with 13 employees, as its president/CEO and encompasses four imprints: Big Machine Records, BMLG Records, The Valory Music Co. and Nash Icon Records. Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' ''Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''. Grotus, stylized as G̈r̈oẗus̈, was an industrial rock band from San Francisco, active from 1989 to 1996. Their unique sound incorporated sampled ethnic instruments, two drummers, two bassists, and featured angry but humorous lyrics.
