Long Jetty
Long Jetty is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located on a peninsula between Tuggerah Lake and the Pacific Ocean south of The Entrance. It is part of the local government area. The only street in The Entrance district to go from the lake to the sea starts in Long Jetty as Toowoon Bay Road. History The jetty after which the town was named is located at the end of Archbold Road. The jetty was opened in 1915 and celebrated 100 years in 2015. This provided a cross lake service with Wyong. At the time, some of the main services for Long Jetty were located around The Entrance Road / Archibold Street area including the former post office. The Central Coast is a peri-urban region in New South Wales, Australia, lying on the Tasman Sea coast to the north of Sydney and south of Newcastle. Shelly Beach is a coastal suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located east of Tuggerah Lake and bordering the Pacific Ocean south of The Entrance. It is part of the local government area. It is 66 km south of Newcastle & 93 km north of Sydney. Shelly Beach is considered one of the most popular surfing beaches on the Central Coast. They continued operating that chain through Woolworths for the next 10 years before acquiring the 42-store Warmans grocery chain and relaunching it as a discount supermarket under the "Jewel Food Stores" name. Killarney Vale is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located approximately 5 kilometres south of The Entrance. It is part of the local government area. The Entrance – Long Jetty hospital is located in Killarney Vale. It is a Community Health Centre of NSW Department of Health. It does not have an Accident or Emergency service.
