London Bridge (TV Series)
''London Bridge'' is a British soap opera made by Carlton for ITV and shown in the London region, as well as a few other ITV regions, including Central and Granada Television. ''London Bridge'' revolved around a restaurant, SE1, and the neighbouring block of flats. It ran from 15 February 1996 to 31 March 1999. It featured many actors who have gone on to star in bigger TV shows, including '' Bad Girls'' actresses Simone Lahbib and Mandana Jones and ''No Angels'' star Sunetra Sarker. Broadcast It started out as a late-night drama which ran for 26 episodes in 1996, before returning as a twice-weekly soap opera later that year. It was not as popular as other British soaps due to only being shown regionally, although did on many occasions beat rival soap ''Hollyoaks'' shown on Channel 4. The show was axed in 1999. Oliver Haden
Oliver Haden is a British actor best known for his role in British film '' Blue Ice''. He also worked at the Langley Academy as deputy-head teacher and teachers 6th form Drama. In 2004 he starred in the British film '' A Way of Life'', directed by Amma Asante, which won "The Alfred Dunhill UK Film Talent Award" at the 2004 London Film Festival and its director won the BAFTA's "Carl Foreman Award" for a debut by a British filmmaker, as well as being named The Times Breakthrough Artist Of The Year at the 2005 South Bank Show Awards. Carlton Television
Carlton Television (now part of the non-franchised ITV London region) was the ITV franchise holder for London and the surrounding counties from 9.25am every Monday to 5.15pm every Friday. The company is now managed with London Weekend Television as a single entity (ITV London), but the two companies are still separately licensed. The station is owned and operated by ITV plc under the licensee of "ITV Broadcasting Limited". Carlton has been branded on air as "ITV1" since 28 October 2002, and as "ITV" since 14 January 2013. 3 Mills Studios is a centre for film, television and theatre production near Stratford, London, Stratford in East London. The site of a former distillery in Three Mills became a dedicated centre for television and film production work with the establishment in the 1980s of Bow Studios, Three Mills Island Studios, and Edwin Shirley, Edwin Shirley Productions. In the mid-1990s the three studios merged to become 3 Mills Studios, under the management of Workspace Group. In August 2004, the London Development Agency acquired ''3 Mills Studios''. Annabel Leventon
Annabel Leventon (born 20 April 1942 in Hertfordshire, England) is an English actress who has acted in various roles on stage and television. While reading English at the University of Oxford she made several appearances at the Oxford Playhouse and toured France as Desdemona in the Oxford University Dramatic Society's production of ''Othello''. She then joined the Fourbeats pop group, played at the Edinburgh Festival and continued in various other OUDS productions. On obtaining her BA she gained a grant to LAMDA and made her professional stage debut in Leicester. In December 1967 she left for America where she joined Tom O' Horgan's ''La MaMa'' troupe in New York and worked with them for seven months before returning to Britain. Ayub Khan Din (born 1961) is a British writer and actor. He wrote the BAFTA, BIFA and London Film Critics Circle award-winning film '' East Is East'' (1999), adapted from his 1996 Olivier-nominated play of the same name.
