FC Lokomotiv Moscow (''FC Lokomotiv Moskva'', russian: link=no, Футбольный клуб "Локомотив" Москва, ) is a Russian professional football club based in Moscow. Lokomotiv have won the Russian Premier League on three occasions; the Soviet Cup twice; and the Russian Cup a record nine times. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the European Club Association suspended the team. History Early years Lokomotiv was founded as Kazanka (Moskovsko-Kazanskaya Zh.D) in 1922. In 1924, the club brought together the strongest football players of several lines of the Moscow railway system as KOR ("Club of the October Revolution"). In 1931, the club was again renamed to Kazanka (Moskovskaya-Kazanskaya Zh.D) and in 1936, it was eventually renamed to as it is known today, Lokomotiv (the name means "Locomotive"). Lokomotiv (russian: Локомотив; English: Locomotive) or Lokomotiv Voluntary Sports Society (VSS) is the Russian sports club and a member of the International Railway Sports Association.Members
International Railway Sports Associations website Before the collapse of the Soviet Union, VSS Lokomotiv consisted of many clubs in a variety of sports which were all named "Lokomotiv" with an addition of the town/city name from which the club was from (f.e. Lokomotiv Moscow). In the Eastern Bloc countries many teams associated with the railway industry (but not part of VSS Lokomotiv) were also named or renamed "Lokomotiv".

Dynamo Stadium (Moscow)
Central Dynamo Stadium was a stadium in Moscow, Russia. It was built in 1928 and held 36,540 people. It was the home ground for Dynamo Moscow. It was central venue of the All-Soviet Dynamo sports society and carried special name of ''Central'' to denote its importance. Until the construction of the Central Lenin Stadium in 1956, the Central Dynamo Stadium was the central sports facility in Moscow. The stadium was one of the venues of the football tournament of the 1980 Summer Olympics. A new stadium was built on the same spot and is named VTB Arena. History Dynamo Stadium, designed by the architects and , dates from 1928. In 1938 the Dinamo station of the Moscow Metro opened nearby. RZD Arena (russian: «РЖД Арена») is a football stadium in Moscow, Russia. Formerly known as ''Lokomotiv Stadium'', it is the home stadium of Lokomotiv Moscow and was the home ground of the Russian national team for the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification matches. Zaur Kaloyev
Zaur Kaloevi ( ka, ზაურ კალოევი; 24 March 1931 – 23 December 1997) was a famous Georgian footballer. During his career he played for Spartaki Tbilisi (1950–1951), Dinamo Tbilisi (1953–1956, 1959–1964), and Lokomotiv Moscow (1957–1958). He participated in the first ever European Nations' Cup in 1960, where the Soviets were champions, and played 3 matches for the Soviets at the Olympic level. Valentin Bubukin
Valentin Borisovich Bubukin (russian: Валентин Борисович Бубукин; 23 April 1933 – 30 October 2008) was a Soviet/ Russian footballer. Biography Bubukin started training in aged 12 in the club Krylia Sovetov. He then moved to VVS Moscow, but the team was disbanded in 1952, and Bubukin went to FC Lokomotiv Moscow, where he spent most of his career.
