Logan Seavey
Logan Norman Seavey (born June 9, 1997) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently competes part-time in the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, driving the No. 5B for Chase Briscoe Racing and full-time in the USAC P1 Insurance National Midget Championship for Keith Kunz Motorsports driving the No. 67 with support from Toyota Racing Development. After winning the 2017 POWRi National Midget championship, he won the 2018 USAC National Midget championship in his rookie season. He won the 2021 Turkey Night Grand Prix race. POWRi (Performance Open Wheeled Racing, inc.) is an oval track racing sanctioning body based in the United States, founded by promoter Kenny Brown. It organizes the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series, a midget car racing series rival to the USAC National Midget Series, as well as the Lucas Oil POWRi West Series and Lucas Oil Outlaw Midget Series feeder series. Also it organizes the POWRi WAR Sprints, a wingless sprint car racing series, plus the POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprints. Kokomo Speedway is a quarter mile (0.4 km) dirt semi-banked oval racing track in Kokomo, Indiana. The track hosts weekly Sunday night races during the American summer months. It has hosted or currently hosts national tours for sprint, late models, midget, and ARCA stock cars. History When the track was built in 1947, it was designed for midget car racing. It was built by Albert Miller and John Rose. The track opened on July 6, 1947. The only winged USAC sprint car event in track history was held on June 23, 1991, and it was won by Kelly Kinser. The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, road courses, and dirt tracks.
