She is a former spokesperson for the National Rifle Association and a former writer and editor for ''Breitbart News''. Loesch was the host of the program ''Dana'' on TheBlaze TV from 2014 to 2017. She also hosts a nationally syndicated weekday radio talk show. Loesch has appeared as a guest on television networks such as Fox News, CNN, CBS, ABC, and HBO. Early life Loesch was raised by her mother, Gale, in an extended family of Southern Baptists. She is descended from Cherokees in Georgia, as well as of Irish descent through her paternal grandmother. Harrison Loesch
Harrison Loesch (March 10, 1916 – November 11, 1997) was a Colorado attorney who became Assistant Secretary of Interior under Richard Nixon. He served in that position from 1969 to 1973. He was responsible for major changes in the Bureau of Indian Affairs, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the Division of Territories and Island Possessions, all of which reported directly to him. Biography Loesch was born in Chicago on March 10, 1916. He was the son of Joseph B. Loesch and Constance Harrison Loesch and grandson of prominent Chicago attorney Frank J. Loesch. Juli Loesch (born 1951) (akas: Julianne Wiley, Julie Loesch Wiley, Juli Loesch Wiley) is an American anti-abortion activist and former media coordinator for Operation Rescue in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, in 1951, Loesch attended Antioch College, where, as an anti-war advocate, she pursued an education in non-violent social change. Within 3 months she was in Delano, California, working for Cesar Chavez of the United Farm Workers (UFW). She later worked in organizing grape and lettuce boycotts in Detroit and Cleveland in support of agricultural labor strikes in California. Dorothea Maria Lösch (1730 – 2 February 1799), was a Swedish master mariner, known for the incident during the Russo-Swedish War (1788–90) in which she commandeered a Swedish ship during a crisis. She was the first female in Sweden to be given the rank of Kapten in the Swedish Navy (approximately the equivalent of lieutenant commander in the British Navy). Her name has also been spelled Losch and Läsch. Dorothea Maria Lösch was the daughter of the goldsmith Henrik Jakob Losch from Stockholm and Dorothea Maria Beyms and married in 1756 to the Finnish sea captain Mårten Johan Thesleff: her spouse's name was also spelled Theslöf or Theslef.
