Lodario Ramón
Lodario Ramón Ramón (born 1954) is a weightlifter and powerlifting coach from Spain. He has coached the Spain national team at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Summer Paralympics. Personal Ramón was born in Fresnedelo, Cáceres. Later, he moved to Asturias. While in high school, he participated in gymnastics. Around that time, he moved to Ponferrada. In 1985, he moved to Oviedo. Powerlifting Ramón first became interested in gyms and weightlifting after reading about them in a magazine. Following his move to Ponferrada, he talked to a bodybuilder named Campillo who encouraged him to try weightlifting. On his first attempt, he was able to lift 65 kilograms. A coach named Tito saw him and recruited him. After three months of training, he was able to lift 100 kilograms and was able to become the local champion in Castilla and León. Powerlifting
Powerlifting is a strength sport that consists of three attempts at maximal weight on three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift. As in the sport of Olympic weightlifting, it involves the athlete attempting a maximal weight single-lift effort of a barbell loaded with weight plates. Powerlifting evolved from a sport known as "odd lifts", which followed the same three-attempt format but used a wider variety of events, akin to strongman competition. Eventually odd lifts became standardized to the current three. In competition, lifts may be performed equipped or un-equipped (typically referred to as 'classic' or 'raw' lifting in the IPF specifically). Equipment in this context refers to a supportive bench shirt or squat/deadlift suit or briefs. Ponferrada
Ponferrada () is a city of Spain, located in the autonomous community of Castile and León. Ponferrada, the second most populated municipality of the Province of León, is also the capital city of El Bierzo, the only ''comarca'' recognized as an administrative entity by law in the region. Loida Zabala Ollero
Loida Zabala Ollero (born 5 April 1987) is a Spanish disability powerlifter who has represented Spain at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Paralympics. Personal Zabala was born in Losar de la Vera, Cáceres. The loss of use of her legs was very sudden, and occurred when she was eleven years old as a result of transverse myelitis. She got her drivers license when she was 18 years old. In 2012, she lived in Oviedo. She moved to Oviedo around Easter in 2007 in order to better train for her sport. She has studied Administration and Finance, and Computers. She has three cats named Alessia, Pug and Cefe. In 2011, she participated in the creation of a charity calendar for the Association to Protect Adopted Animals ( es, Asociación Protectora de Animales Adoptastur), an organization that has helped a number Spanish Sports Federation for Persons with Physical Disabilities of Asturias, sportspeople. The 2012 Summer Paralympics, branded as the London 2012 Paralympic Games, were an international multi-sport parasports event held from 29 August to 9 September 2012 in London, England, United Kingdom.
