Everett De Roche (July 12, 1946 - April 2, 2014) was an American Australians, American-Australian screenwriter who worked extensively in the Australian film and TV industry. He was best known for his work in the thriller and horror genre, with such credits as ''Long Weekend (1978 film), Long Weekend'', ''Patrick (1978 film), Patrick'' and ''Roadgames''. Career De Roche was born in Lincoln, Maine and moved to San Diego with his family when he was six. De Roche emigrated to Australia with his wife when he was 22 in 1968 and originally worked as a journalist for the Queensland Health Education Council. He wanted to be a writer and wrote a spec script for ''Division 4, Division Four''. Nine months later he received a telegram inviting him to write for the show. Frank Gallacher
Frank Gallacher (7 April 1943 – 23 February 2009) was a Scottish-Australian actor. Gallacher was born in Glasgow in 1943. In 1962, aged 19, he was working in London when his parents and younger sister decided to emigrate to Australia. Gallacher declined to join them, preferring to remain in London, but emigrated to Brisbane a year later where he worked as a schoolteacher. He spent three years in Papua New Guinea teaching English. On his return to Brisbane, he joined an amateur theatre company, which eventually gained him admission to the Queensland Theatre Company. In 1977, Gallacher was in Melbourne, performing in David Williamson's play '' The Club'', and he remained with the Melbourne Theatre Company from then on. Oscar Ralph Whitbread (26 November 1929 – 16 May 2016) was an English-Australian producer who worked extensively in television. He moved to Australia in the late 1940s. Whitbread started his career at the ABC in 1956, where he served as the Head of Drama, before switching to the same position with the Seven Network. He was responsible for numerous successful series including '' Bellbird'', ''The Flying Doctors'' and the miniseries ''Power Without Glory''.
