Lockdown (2015)
The 2015 Lockdown (also known as ''Impact Wrestling: Lockdown'') was a professional wrestling television special produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). The show took place on January 9, 2015 at the Manhattan Center in New York, New York. It was the eleventh event under the Lockdown chronology. Unlike the previous events, this event was not held on pay-per-view (PPV) and instead, was featured as a special edition of TNA's weekly broadcast of '' Impact Wrestling'' on Destination America. Five professional wrestling matches were contested at the event. The main event was a Lethal Lockdown match, in which Team Angle (Kurt Angle, Austin Aries, Gunner and Lashley) defeated The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Samoa Joe and Low Ki). Impact Wrestling (stylized as ''IMPACT! Wrestling''), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Founded by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett in 2002, the promotion was initially known as NWA: Total Nonstop Action (''NWA-TNA'') and was associated with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), though not an official member. Austin Aries
Daniel Healy Solwold Jr. (born April 15, 1978), better known by his ring name Austin Aries, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to the Control Your Narrative wrestling promotion. He is best known for his time with Impact Wrestling, where he is a three-time Impact World Champion and a six-time Impact X Division Champion, and Ring of Honor (ROH) where he was the first multi-time ROH World Champion. He is also known for his time with WWE, where he competed in the cruiserweight division as well as doing color commentary. Impact World Tag Team Championship
The Impact World Tag Team Championship (formally known as the TNA World Tag Team Championship) is a professional wrestling world tag team championship which is owned by the Impact Wrestling promotion. The current champions are The Motor City Machine Guns ( Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley), who are in their third reign as a team. It was created and debuted on May 14, 2007 at the taping of then-TNA's primary television program, ''TNA Impact!''. James Storm
James Allen Cox (born June 1, 1977) is an American professional wrestler better known by the ring name James Storm. He is best known for his time in Impact Wrestling. He started his career in 1997 and after working on several independent promotions, he began to wrestle for the newly created NWA Total Nonstop Action promotion. Storm participated in TNA's first event and became a tag team with Chris Harris, America's Most Wanted (AMW). Christopher Joseph Park (born October 4, 1973) is an American retired professional wrestler, who is signed to WWE as a producer and on-screen personality. He is best known for his time with Impact Wrestling under the ring name Abyss. He became a one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He is the heaviest wrestler to hold the X Division Championship and was the longest reigning Television Champion. In the tag team division, he held the NWA World Tag Team Championship once with A.J. The Revolution was a villainous stable in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), consisting of members James Storm, Abyss, The Great Sanada, Khoya, Manik and Serena Deeb.
