Lobo (DC Comics)
Lobo is a character appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. The Lobo character was created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen, and he first appeared in ''Omega Men'' #3 (June 1983). Lobo is an alien from the utopian planet of Czarnia, and he works as an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter. Lobo was first introduced as a hardened villain in the 1980s, but he soon fell out of use with writers. He remained in limbo until his revival as a bounty hunter with his own comic in the early 1990s. Writers attempted to use Lobo as a parody of the 1990s trend towards "grim and gritty" superhero stories, but he was instead enthusiastically accepted by fans of the trend. This popularity led to the character having a much higher profile in DC Comics stories from then on, as well as starring roles in various series in the decades since. Lobo made his live-action debut in the 2019 premiere episode of the second season of the television series ''Krypton'', portrayed by Emmett J. Scanlan ...

Lobo (Dell Comics)
Lobo is a fictional Western comic-book hero who is the medium's first African-American character to headline his own series. Publication history Lobo starred in Dell Comics' little-known, two-issue series ''Lobo'' (Dec. 1965 & Sept. 1966), also listed as ''Dell Comics'' #12-439-512 and #12-439-610 in the company's quirky numbering system. Created by Dell editor and writer Don "D. J." Arneson and artist Tony Tallarico, it chronicled the Old West adventures of a wealthy, unnamed African-American gunslinger called "Lobo" by the first issue's antagonists. On the foreheads of vanquished criminals, Lobo would leave the calling card of a gold coin imprinted with the images of a wolf and the letter " L".''Lobo'' #1 (Dell, 1965 series)

She first appeared in '' Avengers'' #85 (February 1971), and was created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema. She is based on Black Canary and later on Hawkgirl in DC Comics. Linda Lewis was a singer before an enemy of the Squadron Supreme, Doctor Decibel, surgically implanted synthetic vocal cords into her throat, giving her the ability to generate a "sonic cry" which could incapacitate opponents. A reluctant hero at best, Linda often wished to return to her singing career. She often partnered in crime-fighting, and later romantically, with the character Golden Archer (mirroring the relationship between the modern Black Canary and Green Arrow); however, she refused his marriage proposal. The Archer then used a mind-altering device to literally change her mind, ...

Maximus Lobo
Maximus Lobo is a fictional character, a mutant appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. His first appearance was in ''The Uncanny X-Men'' #417. Fictional character biography Maximus Lobo is part of a group of mutants that bears a striking resemblance to that of werewolves. He runs the company Lobo Technologies, which is a division of Worthington Enterprises owned by the veteran X-Man Archangel. In White Plains, New York, where Lobo Technologies is located, Maximus Lobo and more of his kind, the self-fashioned ''Dominant Species'', slaughtered a small group of humans, but spared the mutant girl who was present. When a team of X-Men went to investigate this murder, Lobo fought and defeated Wolverine in a relatively short time. Lobo and the others then engaged the rest of the X-Men there and forced them to retreat. Lobo and his pack caught up to Archangel and Husk, and tried to kill them off. There, he claimed to have killed Archangel's father. Lobo and his ...
