Loana Lecomte (born 8 August 1999) is a French cross-country and mountain bike cyclist. Career In her first season as a junior in 2016, Lecomte became French champion and won several races of the Coupe de France de VTT. In her second season as a junior, she won silver in cross country at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships and the UEC Mountain Bike European Championships. After moving to the U23, she was once again on the podium at the World and European Championships in 2019. In 2020, Lecomte raced, and won, her first World Cup race as an elite and then went on to claim world and European championship titles with victory in the UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships – Team relay at the 2020 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Leogang and the U-23 race at the European Mountain Bike Championships in Monteceneri. Annecy
Annecy ( , ; frp, Èneci or ) is the prefecture and largest city of the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of Southeastern France. It lies on the northern tip of Lake Annecy, south of Geneva, Switzerland. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (born 10 February 1992) is a French multi-discipline bicycle racer, who rides for UCI Elite Mountain Bike team BMC MTB Racing in cross-country cycling. and has signed for Ineos Grenadiers for 2023. Ferrand-Prévot has also competed in road bicycle racing and cyclo-cross during her career, winning the world title in each discipline. The 2019 European Mountain Bike Championships was the 30th holding of the European Mountain Bike Championships, an annual mountain biking competition organized by the Union Européenne de Cyclisme (UEC). The championships comprised seven disciplines: downhill, cross-country cycling (XC), cross-country marathon (XCM), cross-country ultra-marathon, cross-country eliminator (XCE), trials, and beach race. The 2017 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships was the 28th edition of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.
