Loafer (2015 Film)
''Loafer'' is a 2015 Indian Telugu language, Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. It stars Varun Tej and newcomer Disha Patani while Revathi and Posani Krishna Murali appear in crucial supporting roles. The film was officially launched on 8 July 2015 in Hyderabad. The film was released on 17 December 2015 in more than 750 screens across the globe and received mixed reviews from critics and eventually underperformed at the box office. It was later dubbed into Hindi under the title ''Loafer The Hero'' for direct telecast on Zee Cinema in 2016. It was later dubbed in Tamil language, Tamil. Puri Jagannadh
Petla "Puri" Jagannadh (born 28 September 1966) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer, who works primarily in the Telugu film Industry. He made his directorial debut with the Telugu film '' Badri'' starring Pawan Kalyan, Renu Desai and Ameesha Patel. In 2006, he directed the Telugu film ''Pokiri'', premiered at the 7th IIFA Film Festival held in Dubai. Kandikonda (13 October 1973 – 12 March 2022) was an Indian film lyricist, known for his works in Telugu cinema. Kandikonda was born in Nagurlapally, Narsampet Mandal of Warangal district. He was awarded Doctorate for his thesis on ''Situational songs in Telugu cinema'' from Osmania University. Shilpakala Vedika is a terracotta auditorium and convention centre located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The auditorium is in area.
