Lloyd Park tram stop is on the edge of Lloyd Park in the London Borough of Croydon in the southern suburbs of London, beside Coombe Road and opposite Croham Park Avenue and Castlemaine Avenue. Tramlink
London Trams, previously Tramlink and Croydon Tramlink, is a light rail tram system serving Croydon and surrounding areas in South London, England. It began operation in 2000, the first tram system in the London region since 1952. It is managed by London Trams, a public body part of Transport for London (TfL), and has been operated by FirstGroup since 2017. Tramlink is one of two light rail networks in Greater London, the other being the Docklands Light Railway. Lloyd Park (Croydon)
Lloyd Park (also known as Lloyd Country Park) is a park on the outskirts of central Croydon, Greater London, managed by the London Borough of Croydon. It is bordered by Coombe Road to the south and Lloyd Park Avenue to the west. To the north, access is from Deepdene and Mapledale Avenue, and the park adjoins Grimwade Avenue and Addiscombe Cricket Club. To the east the park is bordered by Shirley Park Golf Course. It was created from land owned by Frank Lloyd (son of Edward Lloyd) a newspaper proprietor who died in 1927 which was bequeathed to the Borough of Croydon by his family, after his death. Coombe Road Railway Station
Coombe Road was a railway station on the Woodside and South Croydon Joint Railway in London. When it was closed it was owned and managed by British Rail. History A link between the Mid-Kent Line at Woodside and the Oxted Line at known as the Woodside and South Croydon Joint Railway was authorised in 1880. The Woodside and South Croydon Joint Railway (W&SC) was a short, relatively short-lived and unsuccessful railway in the London Borough of Croydon in London, England. Therapia Lane Tram Stop
Therapia Lane tram stop is a stop on the Tramlink service in Croydon, close to the Purley Way commercial area. The stop is in the London Borough of Sutton close to the boundary with Croydon. It is one of two Tramlink stops within Sutton borough, the other being Beddington Lane. Just to the west of the stop is Therapia Lane Depot Staff Halt, a two platform stop used only by staff getting to or from Therapia Lane depot, and not permitted for public use. However, since 21 March 2020, the stop has been out of use due to its narrow, short platforms preventing social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
