Lloyd Levine
Lloyd Edward Levine (born July 3, 1969) is a United States Democratic Party, Democratic politician who represented California's 40th State Assembly district from December 2, 2002 to November 30, 2008. In the Assembly, Levine served as the Majority Whip and then as chair of the Committee on Utilities and Commerce where he shepherded legislation on renewable energy, energy efficiency, solar, and digital infrastructure. Levine was known for his effort to enact a California Assembly Bill 1634 (2007), spay and neutering law for some pets, his effort to ban incandescent light bulbs, his program to promote fitness, and his plastic bag recycling program. Levine was termed out of the Assembly at the end of 2008 and lost to Fran Pavley in a primary election that year for a state Senate seat. KCRA-TV (channel 3) is a television station in Sacramento, California, United States, affiliated with NBC. It is owned by Hearst Television alongside Stockton, California, Stockton-licensed MyNetworkTV affiliate KQCA (channel 58). Both stations share studios on Television Circle off D Street in downtown Sacramento, while KCRA-TV's transmitter is located in Walnut Grove, California. History The station first signed on the air on September 3, 1955. It was founded by the Central Valley Broadcasting Company, a partnership of the Kelly and Hansen families of Sacramento. Edie Lambert
Edie Lambert (born November 26, 1968) is a well-known TV journalist in Sacramento. She currently anchors the 5 pm, 6 pm and 11 pm newscasts on KCRA reports. Career Lambert joined KCRA in July 1995 as a reporter and morning anchor. Later she became the weekend anchor with Ron Jones (now at KOVR), until 2002. Then she anchored with Kevin Riggs on the weekend evening editions of the newscast. In early 2006, she switched positions to anchor the 6 and 11pm newscast with John Alston. She is now teamed up with Gulstan Dart. Lambert graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
