Joseba Llorente Etxarri (born 24 November 1979) is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a centre-forward. He amassed La Liga totals of 179 games and 50 goals over ten seasons, representing in the competition Real Sociedad, Valladolid, Villarreal and Osasuna. He added 142 matches and 55 goals in the Segunda División, mainly in service of Eibar. Club career Born in Hondarribia, Basque Country, Llorente came through the ranks of Real Sociedad, making his debut for the first team on 3 October 1999 against Real Zaragoza (2–0 away loss). Llorente (IPA: ʎoˈrɛntɛ, officially the Municipality of Llorente ( war, Bungto han Llorente; tl, Bayan ng Llorente), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Eastern Samar, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 21,459 people. The municipality was named after Julio Aballe Llorente (1863–1940), a Cebuano Politician who was instrumental in the establishment of the American Government in Cebu. Segundo Llorente Villa, S.J. (November 18, 1906January 26, 1989) was a Spanish Jesuit, philosopher and author who spent 40 years as a missionary among the Yup'ik in the most remote parts of Alaska. In 1960, he won a seat in the 2nd Alaska State Legislature as a write-in candidate, becoming the state’s first Priesthood (Catholic Church), Catholic priest elected to office, as well as one of two write-in candidates elected that year from The Bush (Alaska), rural Alaska. Juan Antonio Llorente, ORE (March 30, 1756 in Rincón de Soto (La Rioja), Spain – February 5, 1823 in Madrid) was a Spanish historian. Biography Llorente was raised by an uncle after his parents died. He studied at the University of Zaragoza, and, having been ordained priest, became vicar-general to the bishop of Calahorra in 1782. In 1785, he became commissary of the Holy Office (Inquisition) at Logroño and, in 1789, its general secretary at Madrid. In the crisis of 1808, Llorente identified himself with the Bonaparte regime and was engaged for a few years in superintending the execution of the decree for the suppression of the monastic orders, in examining the archives of the Spanish Inquisition and in arguing for the submission of the Spanish church to the Bonaparte monarch.
