Llangeinor AFC
Llangeinor Athletic Football Club are an association football club based in the village of Llangeinor near Bridgend, Wales. The club currently plays in both the South Wales Alliance League Division 2 and the Bridgend & District League in South Wales. Llangeinor have a history of football going back to before the Second World War, when football was played at Pandy Woods. The move to Llangeinor Park came after a brief spell playing on Llangeinor Common. They currently play in South Wales Alliance League Division 2, Bridgend and District Division 1 and Division 2. They also have a team playing in the local Sunday League Second Division. Llangeinor (Welsh: ''Llangeinwyr'') is a small village (and electoral ward) located in the Garw Valley around north of Bridgend in Bridgend County Borough, Wales. The ward population taken at the 2011 census was 1,243. The entire village is now protected as part of a conservation area. Economy IRVIN-GQ, part of Airborne Systems Group, makes parachutes for the military, near the junction of the A4093 with the main road A4064. GQ Parachutes had been formed in 1932. Governance At the local level Llangeinor is an electoral ward to Garw Valley Community Council, electing two of the 13 community councillors. Bridgend (; cy, Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr or just , meaning "the end of the bridge on the Ogmore") is a town in Bridgend County Borough in Wales, west of Cardiff and east of Swansea. South Wales Alliance League
The South Wales Alliance League is a football league structure in South Wales, currently known for sponsorship reasons as ''The Highadmit Projects South Wales Alliance League''. The top tier of the league, the Premier Division is at the fourth tier of the Welsh Football Pyramid and offers promotion opportunities to the tier 3 Football Association of Wales administered Ardal Leagues. The league is run by the South Wales Football Association. The league was formed in 2015 by a merger of the South Wales Senior League and the South Wales Amateur League. The Bridgend & District League is a football league covering the town of Bridgend and surrounding areas in South Wales. The leagues are at the eighth, ninth and tenth levels of the Welsh football league system.
