Llanfairfechan Town F
Llanfairfechan ("Little St Mary's Parish") is a town and community in the Conwy County Borough, Wales. It is known as a seaside resort and had a population at the 2001 Census of 3,755, reducing to 3,637 at the 2011 Census. The history of the area dates back to at least Roman times, as demonstrated by the discovery of a large second century milestone, which is now preserved in the British Museum. Political boundary It was in Gwynedd from 1972 to 1996, and prior to that was in Caernarfonshire. For ceremonial and electoral boundary purposes it was transferred from the preserved county of Gwynedd to that of Clwyd in 2003. For electoral purposes, the community of Llanfairfechan consists of three electoral wards, Bryn, Lafan and Pandy. Aberconwy (National Assembly For Wales Constituency)
Aberconwy is a constituency of the Senedd. First created for the former Assembly's 2007 election. It elects one Member of the Senedd by the first past the post method of election. It is one of nine constituencies in the North Wales electoral region, which elects four additional members, in addition to nine constituency members, to produce a degree of proportional representation for the region as a whole. Bryn y Neuadd Hospital ( cy, Ysbyty Bryn y Neuadd) is a mental health facility in Llanfairfechan, Conwy County Borough, Wales. It is managed by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. History The hospital was established by converting a mid-19th-century Italian Gothic style mansion into a facility to care for "lunatics and idiots" in 1898. Aber Falls
Aber Falls ( cy, Rhaeadr Fawr) is a waterfall located about two miles (3 km) south of the village of Abergwyngregyn, Gwynedd, Wales. The waterfall is formed as the plunges about over a sill of igneous rock in the foothills of the range. Two tributaries merge; the enlarged stream is known as ; from the road bridge, ("New Bridge"), the name becomes . Phalacrocoracidae is a family of approximately 40 species of aquatic birds commonly known as cormorants and shags. North Wales Coast Line
