Ljubaništa ( mk, Љубаништа) is a village along the shore of the Lake Ohrid in North Macedonia. The village is located near the Monastery of St. Naum and the border with Albania. History Of all the Orthodox Macedonian villages located on the eastern side of Lake Ohrid, only Ljubaništa had family ties with Orthodox Albanians from Pogradec and Korçë in Albania. The Municipality of Ohrid ( mk, Општина Охрид) is a municipality in the southwestern part of North Macedonia. ''Ohrid'' is also the name of the city where the municipal seat is found. Korçë (; sq-definite, Korça) is the eighth most populous city of the Republic of Albania and the seat of Korçë County and Korçë Municipality. Pogradec
Pogradec () is the eleventh most populous city in Albania and the capital of the eponymous municipality. It is located on a narrow plain between two mountain chains along the southwestern banks of the Lake of Ohrid. Its climate is profoundly influenced by a seasonal Mediterranean and Continental climate. The total population is 61,530, of which 20,848 in the municipal unit (the pre-2015 municipality) Pogradec (2011 census). The Monastery of Saint Naum ( mk, Манастир „Свети Наум“) is an Eastern Orthodox monastery in North Macedonia, named after the First Bulgarian Empire, medieval Bulgarian writer and enlightener Saint Naum who founded it. It is situated along Lake Ohrid, south of the city of Ohrid. The Lake Ohrid area, including St Naum, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in North Macedonia.
