Lizo Gqoboka
Lizo Pumzile Gqoboka (born 24 March 1990) is a South African professional rugby union player for the South Africa national team, the in Super Rugby and the in the Currie Cup. His regular position is prop. Career Youth Gqoboka's high school in Tabankulu (a village near Mount Frere in the Eastern Cape) did not play rugby and he concentrated on athletics (running 100m in 11.6 seconds) and soccer. Gqoboka only started playing the sport aged 19 when he moved to Durban to study human resource management and there joined Durban Collegians Sports Club. He started off playing as a Number Eight and a Lock, but eventually moved to prop. The 2011 ABSA Under-21 Provincial Championship was contested from 15 July to 29 October 2011. The tournament featured the Under-21 players from the fourteen provincial rugby unions in South Africa. George Whitehead (rugby Union)
George Alexander Whitehead (born 17 March 1989) is a South African professional rugby union player for the in Pro14 on loan from in the Currie Cup and in the Rugby Challenge. In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). Varsity Cup is the collective name for four South African rugby union competitions involving the top rugby playing universities in the country. It was launched in 2008, with eight teams participating in the Varsity Cup competition and each university's internal champions competing in the Koshuis Rugby Championships (now known as Res Rugby). In 2011, a second tier competition called the Varsity Shield was added, increasing the number of participating universities to thirteen.
