Liyu Lake
The Liyu Lake or Carp Lake () is a lake in Chinan Village, Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, Taiwan. Name ''Liyu'' means carp in English where by the name, the lake has a lot of carps. The name itself originated from the Liyu Mountain beside the lake. Geography The lake is about 1.6 km in length and 930 meters in width, making it the largest inland lake in Hualien County with a total area of 104 hectares. The lake is located at the foot of Mount Liyu. Features After the development of the lake into a scenic spot, the lake becomes the site of various recreational activities, such as light boat sailing, water sports, etc. It has single lane bicycle path around 5 km encircling the lake and footpaths for strolling along the shore. The Chinan National Forest Recreation Area () and Mukumugi () surrounding the lake displays the old logging trains and the logging displays and aboriginal culture respectively. Tianyuan District () is one of four urban districts of Zhuzhou City, Hunan province, China. The district was formed on May 31, 1997. Its name derives from Tian-tai Mountain () and Yuan-yi Farm (), which were two important places then, taking their first syllables, creating the name of Tianyuan District. Yunxiao County () is a county of Zhangzhou prefecture level city, in the south of Fujian province, People's Republic of China. The county had a population of 415,835 according to the 2010 Census. Caboloan (also spelled ''Kaboloan''; pag, Luyag na Caboloan), referred to Chinese records as Feng-chia-hsi-lan (), was a sovereign pre-colonial Philippine polity located in the fertile Agno River basin and delta, with Binalatongan as the capital. Places in Pangasinan like Lingayen Gulf were mentioned as early as 1225, when Lingayen as known as Li-ying-tung had been listed in Chao Ju-kua's ''Chu Fan Chih'' (An account of the various barbarians) as one of the trading places along with Mai (Mindoro or Manila). The polity of Pangasinan sent emissaries to China in 1406–1411.
