Ellas McDaniel (born Ellas Otha Bates; December 30, 1928 – June 2, 2008), known professionally as Bo Diddley, was an American guitarist who played a key role in the transition from the blues to rock and roll. He influenced many artists, including Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Animals, George Thorogood, and The Clash. His use of African rhythms and a signature beat, a simple five- accent hambone rhythm, is a cornerstone of hip hop, rock, and pop music. In recognition of his achievements, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, the Blues Hall of Fame in 2003, and the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2017. Living Legends (Living Legends - The International Home of Rest for Champion Horses Incorporated) is a nonprofit equine charity located at 207 Oaklands Road in Woodlands Homestead at Woodlands Historic Park in Greenvale, Victoria, Greenvale near Melbourne, Australia. Opened to the public on 31 October 2006, the organization's primary activity is bringing champion and popular gelding racehorses back to the people; but it also supports the care of older horses, equine research, education and training to benefit horses of any age or breed. Living Legend (attraction)
Living Legend was a tourist attraction in Jersey, consisting of a show detailing Jersey's history, an "adventure golf" course and a craft and shopping village. It did not re-open for the 2016 season after 24 years of operation. The Jersey Experience The show, entitled "The Jersey Experience", consisted of three sections. The first was a section that visitors can walk around, set on a Victorian paddle steamer destined for St. Helier. It contained videos showing all the major events that occurred on Jersey during the previous century, a section on Jersey urban legends, and information on famous people who were born on or live on Jersey. Larry Zbyszko
Lawrence Whistler (born December 5, 1951), better known by the ring name Larry Zbyszko, is an American retired professional wrestler. He is perhaps best known for his feud with his mentor, Bruno Sammartino, during the early 1980s as well as his work as a wrestler and color commentator for World Championship Wrestling. Bruno Leopoldo Francesco Sammartino (October 6, 1935 – April 18, 2018) was an Italian-born American professional wrestler, best known for his work with the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF, now WWE).
