Liverpool Media Academy
The Liverpool Media Academy, abbreviated and branded as LMA, is a private media, music and performing arts specialist institution in Liverpool and London, England offering courses in Acting, Screen Acting, Digital Film & TV Production, Digital Games Art, Music Performance & Industry, Dance and Musical Theatre. History Founded by brothers Richard Wallace and Simon Wallace in 2009. In February 2019 Sir Terry Leahy and Bill Currie (William Currie Group) joined the LMA team as shareholders. Robbie Williams is now also part of the LMA team LMA have over 900 students media, music and performing arts students. In 2020 plans were submitted to Liverpool City Council to convert upper floors of the Metquarter centre into teaching rooms, recording studios and common rooms for students of the Academy. Further Education

Pitch Battle
''Pitch Battle'' was a singing show hosted by Mel Giedroyc on BBC One. It began airing on 17 June 2017. The show sees rival musical groups facing-off against each other, inspired by the 2012 film ''Pitch Perfect''. At the final on 22 July 2017, Leeds Contemporary Singers were crowned the winners. Judges and presenters The series was hosted by Mel Giedroyc and is joined each week by judges Gareth Malone and Kelis and series music director Deke Sharon. A flash mob (or flashmob) is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform for a brief time, then quickly disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment, satire, and artistic expression.
