Live – Nach Uns Die Sintflut
''Live – Nach uns die Sintflut'' ("Devil may care"; "Après moi, le déluge") is the eighth album by German rock band Die Ärzte. It is their first live album, released on triple vinyl and double CD, just before the band disbanded. The band risked with this album being ' indexed' (banned) because of a third sequel of Claudia (''Debil'' - "Claudia hat 'nen Schäferhund" ndexed '' Ab 18'' - "Claudia II") and the bonus single featuring the indexed "Geschwisterliebe", sung entirely by fans while the band played. The album featured many songs written especially to be played live, such as "Madonnas Dickdarm", "Claudia", "Ich bin wild" and "Uns geht's prima". "Madonnas Dickdarm" and "Claudia" (as "Claudia III", shortened) were later released on ''Das Beste von kurz nach früher bis jetze'', along with " Blumen" and " Elke". The first "Sprüche" is on this album. "Sprüche II" is found on ''Wir wollen nur deine Seele'', the only other 2-CD live album by Die Ärzte. "Sprüche III" ...

Die Ärzte
Die Ärzte (; ) is a German rock band from Berlin. The band has released 14 studio albums. The group consists of guitarist Farin Urlaub, drummer Bela B and bass player Rodrigo González. All three write and perform their songs. History Early years Die Ärzte were formed in West Berlin in 1982 by Jan Vetter (alias Farin Urlaub, a pun on the expression "Fahr' in Urlaub", meaning "Go on vacation"), Dirk Felsenheimer (alias Bela B, referring to Dracula actor Bela Lugosi) and bassist Hans Runge, alias . Bela and Farin had previously played together in the punk band Soilent Grün, established in 1979 and named after the film ''Soylent Green''. After Soilent Grün broke up in 1982, Bela and Farin decided to form another band. In the first two years (including Sahnie) they mostly played in clubs in their hometown, Berlin. Their first release was a contribution to the sampler ''20 schäumende Stimmungshits'' (rough translation: "20 foamy party hits"), featuring a strong alcohol th ...

Wir Wollen Nur Deine Seele
''Wir wollen nur deine Seele'' ("We only want your soul") is the second live album by German rock band Die Ärzte, released on 22 November 1999. It is a compilation of songs from different concerts. Leftover songs were released on '' Satanische Pferde'', which was only available for fan club members. The album's title is taken from a German book which was released by a Christian publisher in 1984 about the (perceived) propagation of satanism and occultism by rock musicians. This book gained a kind of cult status as a piece of real-life satire among heavy metal fans. The subtitle of the first disc is a reference to Motörhead's successful live album ''No Sleep 'til Hammersmith'' and it also puns the heavy metal umlaut, for which Motörhead is a noted example. "Sprüche II" on the EP contains two parts played at the same time, which means that one has to unplug the right speaker, when one wants to hear part 1 (left) and the other way around. In December 1999, a sequel to the t ...

Colon (anatomy)
The large intestine, also known as the large bowel, is the last part of the gastrointestinal tract and of the digestive system in tetrapods. Water is absorbed here and the remaining waste material is stored in the rectum as feces before being removed by defecation. The colon is the longest portion of the large intestine, and the terms are often used interchangeably but most sources define the large intestine as the combination of the cecum, colon, rectum, and anal canal. Some other sources exclude the anal canal. In humans, the large intestine begins in the right iliac region of the pelvis, just at or below the waist, where it is joined to the end of the small intestine at the cecum, via the ileocecal valve. It then continues as the colon ascending the abdomen, across the width of the abdominal cavity as the transverse colon, and then descending to the rectum and its endpoint at the anal canal. Overall, in humans, the large intestine is about long, which is about one-fifth o ...

Buddy Holly
Charles Hardin Holley (September 7, 1936 – February 3, 1959), known as Buddy Holly, was an American singer and songwriter who was a central and pioneering figure of mid-1950s rock and roll. He was born to a musical family in Lubbock, Texas during the Great Depression, and learned to play guitar and sing alongside his siblings. His style was influenced by gospel music, country music, and rhythm and blues acts, which he performed in Lubbock with his friends from high school. He made his first appearance on local television in 1952, and the following year he formed the group "Buddy and Bob" with his friend Bob Montgomery. In 1955, after opening for Elvis Presley, he decided to pursue a career in music. He opened for Presley three times that year; his band's style shifted from country and western to entirely rock and roll. In October that year, when he opened for Bill Haley & His Comets, he was spotted by Nashville scout Eddie Crandall, who helped him get a contract with Dec ...

Sweet Gwendoline
Sweet Gwendoline is the main female character in the works of bondage artist John Willie, first published as a serial, usually two pages at a time, in Robert Harrison (publisher), Robert Harrison's mainstream girlie magazine ''Wink'' from June 1947 to February 1950 and later in several other magazines over the years. In Willie's drawings and comic books, Gwendoline appears as a rather naïve blonde damsel in distress with ample curves, who is unfortunate enough to find herself tied up in scene after scene. She is rescued and also repeatedly tied up (though for benevolent reasons) by Secret Agent 69_(sex_position), U-69. The moustachioed villain "Sir Dystic D'Arcy" was based on Willie himself.Glenn Daniel Wilson, ''Variant sexuality: research and theory'', Taylor & Francis, 1987, , p.15 Though it has been compared to ''The Perils of Pauline (1914 serial), The Perils of Pauline'', Willie stated that he had not seen the film or even heard of it until much later in his career.
