''Live on Stage'' is the second album by the Australian Gypsy fusion band Monsieur Camembert. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2002 it won the ARIA Award for Best World Music Album. Most of the tracks are from a live concert recorded for ABC Radio National.ARIA Award previous winners. Note: incorrectly states concert was recorded in 2002. An expanded version, with four additional tracks, was released in November 2011 for ''Live on Stage''s tenth anniversary. Jazz
Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans, Louisiana in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with its roots in blues and ragtime. ARIA Award For Best World Music Album
The ARIA Music Awards, ARIA Music Award for Best World Music Album, is an award presented within the Fine Arts Awards at the annual ARIA Music Awards. It was inaugurated in ARIA Music Awards of 1995, 1995 as Best Folk/World/Traditional Release. The ARIA Awards recognise "the many achievements of Australians, Aussie artists across all music genres", and have been given by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) since 1987. The lyrics were written by the poet and writer Yevhen Hrebinka, born in Poltava , now in Ukraine.
