''Live from Austin TX'' is the fourth album and the first live album by American blues artist Susan Tedeschi, released in 2004. Reception In a review for AllMusic, Thom Jurek called the album "a nice collection of material... performed with a wonderful balance of passion and finesse," and stated that it "doesn't replace her studio outings in any way, but it complements them nicely." The authors of ''The Penguin Guide to Blues Recordings'' praised Tedeschi's performance of Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right", which she "claims as her own with an intimate rendition." Hank Kalet of ''PopMatters'' described Tedeschi as "a tremendous vocal stylist" who "finds the emotional core at the center of each song and allows her voice to wrap around it." Thomas Jay Hambridge (born December 20, 1960) is an American rock, country, and blues, producer, songwriter, musician and vocalist. Paul Jerrod Pena (January 26, 1950 – October 1, 2005) was an American singer, songwriter and guitarist of Cape Verdean descent. His music from the first half of his career touched on Delta blues, jazz, morna, flamenco, folk and rock and roll. Pena is probably best known for writing the song "Jet Airliner," a major 1977 hit for the Steve Miller Band and a staple of classic rock radio; and for appearing in the 1999 documentary film ''Genghis Blues'', wherein he displayed his abilities in the field of Tuvan throat singing. Tommy Shannon (born Thomas Lafitte Smedley; April 18, 1946) is an American bass guitarist, who is best known as a member of Double Trouble, a blues rock band led by Stevie Ray Vaughan. Born in Tucson, Arizona, Shannon moved to Dumas, Texas when he was nine, where he originally started as a guitarist, though he started playing bass at the age of 21. He appeared with Johnny Winter at Woodstock in 1969. He later joined Double Trouble in 1981 and became a permanent member of Double Trouble until Vaughan's death in 1990. Tommy Sims is an American bassist, songwriter, record producer and bandleader. Music career From 1987 to 1989 Sims was the bassist for the Christian rock band White Heart, which he left to become a studio musician and producer. During 1992-1993, he played bass on the Bruce Springsteen 1992–1993 World Tour. As a songwriter he co-wrote Eric Clapton's "Change the World", which won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year in 1997.
