Live at the Marquee is a season of music concerts and other live performance events organised by Aiken Promotions in a large Marquee (tent), marquee in Cork (city), Cork, Ireland, every summer since 2005. For about a month in June and July, a concert is held most evenings; tickets for each night are sold separately, with varying lineups and pricing. Live At The Marquee (Gary Moore Album)
''Live'' is a live album by Gary Moore, recorded over two nights in 1980 at the Marquee Club in London. For the recording, Moore enlisted former Lone Star frontman, Kenny Driscoll to provide lead vocals (Driscoll's replacement in Lone Star, John Sloman, would later perform with Moore), Andy Pyle of The Kinks to play bass, former Black Oak Arkansas and Pat Travers drummer Tommy Aldridge, and Moore's former Colosseum II bandmate, keyboardist Don Airey, who would go on to contribute to many of Moore's later solo works. The performance mainly showcases material from Moore's 1979 solo album '' Back on the Streets'' and his ill-fated G-Force project, with two songs being from ''Dirty Fingers'', and the remaining track, "Dallas Warhead" being an original composition, which incorporates a drum solo from Aldridge. This album was first released in Japan in 1983 along with the ''Dirty Fingers'' album by Sony Records who bought the copyright from Jet Records. There have been several ...

The Format
The Format is an American indie rock band formed by Nate Ruess and Sam Means. Their style can be considered a mixture of indie, alternative, punk and folk music, with elements of 1960s and 1970s pop music. Though Means and Ruess are the foremost members of the band, they have played, toured, and recorded with Mike Schey, Mark Buzard, Don Raymond, and for the DVD recording and summer 2007 tour, The Honorary Title's drummer Adam Boyd. The Format chose their name to make fun of the music industry's inclination towards a cookie-cutter "format" for a hit. Formed in 2002, the band announced a hiatus on February 4, 2008. On February 4, 2020, they announced a return from their hiatus for a tour of special shows that were later cancelled. History Before forming The Format in February 2002, Means and Ruess, who had been friends since grade school, formed the band Nevergonnascore and released the EP "The Byron Sessions" which had generated some record label interest but not a deal. The duo ...
