''Live at Luther College'' is a live album by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds recorded at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Recorded on February 6, 1996, and released nearly three years later, it was the first concert recording by the pair to be made available commercially. The album features several previously unreleased or rare tracks, including "What Will Become of Me?", which would later be used as the basis for the song "Pantala Naga Pampa" on the 1998 studio album '' Before These Crowded Streets''. Six songs would appear on the studio album ''Crash'', released later in 1996. ''Live at Luther College'' was followed eight years later by the duo's ''Live at Radio City''. Dave Matthews And Tim Reynolds
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds or Dave and Tim is a musical act composed of Dave Matthews, member of Dave Matthews Band, and Tim Reynolds, member of TR3 and Dave Matthews Band. History Matthews and Reynolds met in Charlottesville, Virginia, while Matthews was a bartender at Miller's. Reynolds encouraged Matthews' musical growth. Matthews wanted to join Reynolds' band TR3, but Reynolds told him to form his own band. Matthews went on to form Dave Matthews Band (DMB). Tim Reynolds
Tim Reynolds (born 15 December 1957) is an American guitarist and multi-instrumentalist known as both a solo artist and as a lead guitarist for the Dave Matthews Band. AllMusic critic MacKenzie Wilson has called Reynolds "an under-rated master". Reynolds plays the guitar, piano, sitar, drums, violin, bass, keyboards, ethnic percussive instruments, solo djembe, harp, uses drum machines for special effects, and sings, although his performances are primarily instrumental rock music. As well as being the founding member of the band TR3, he is one of the musicians who performed at Miller's, a bar in Charlottesville, Virginia, befriending and encouraging the bartender, a young Dave Matthews, to form a band of his own, introducing him to local musicians, several of whom make up the Dave Matthews Band. Granny (song)
"Granny" is a song by Virginia-based jam band Dave Matthews Band. Though never released on an official studio album, "Granny" was dropped from the ''Under the Table and Dreaming'' sessions. This song was originally intended to be the first single from that album. The song does not use LeRoi Moore or Boyd Tinsley on their respective instruments because the song is focused around a guitar melody without accompaniment. The song also features very sparse use of Carter Beauford's drumming throughout the main section. However, the final section of the song includes the repetition of the lyrics "Love...Baby..." where many members of the band sing at the same time. The song remains popular on live setlists to this day and appears on some live albums by the band including ''Listener Supported'', ''The Central Park Concert'' and '' The Gorge''. Warehouse is a song by Dave Matthews Band which was released on their first studio album, ''Under the Table and Dreaming''. A live performance of the song was also released on their early EP ''Recently''. This song ranks near the top of the list in terms of all time fan favorites. It’s been played since the very beginning and has remained a highlight of nearly every show in which it is played. Versions In the early days of 92-93, the song frequently featured a "Shortnin' Bread" interpolation towards the end of the song. ''Under the Table and Dreaming'' is the debut studio album from Dave Matthews Band, released on September 27, 1994. The album's first single was "What Would You Say", featuring John Popper of Blues Traveler on harmonica. Two other singles from the album followed, "Ants Marching" and "Satellite".
