Liv Strömquist
Liv Strömquist (born February 3, 1978) is a Swedish comics artist and radio presenter. Life and career Strömquist was born in Lund and grew up in Ravlunda in the Österlen region of south Sweden. Today she lives in Malmö. Already as a five-year old she made her own comics, but stopped, until she took up drawing comics at the age of 23. Her flatmate made her interested in comic fanzines then. With ''Rikedomen'', she published her first own fanzine. Her breakthrough as a comic artist followed with her first album ''Hundra procent fett'' ("One hundred percent fat"), which was published in 2005. She regularly publishes in the comic magazine ''Galago'' in various magazines and newspapers such as ''Dagens Nyheter'', ''Dagens Arbete'', ''Bang'', ''Aftonbladet'' and ''Ordfront Magasin''. She designed the cover for the 2013 album ''Shaking the Habitual'' by the band The Knife. A cartoonist is a visual artist who specializes in both drawing and writing cartoons (individual images) or comics (sequential images). Sveriges Radio P3
P3 (''Sveriges Radio P3'' or ''pe tre'') is a mainstream CHR-formatted station operated by Sweden's national publicly funded radio broadcasting organization Sveriges Radio. The P in P3 originally stood for Program (''Programme'') but today has no official meaning and is simply a name. P3 was officially similar and related to BBC Radio 1. P3 is broadcast nationwide on FM (also digitally via DAB in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Luleå) as well as being streamed on the internet. It also operated the web- and DAB-only channel P3 Star until June 2019. Format Its output (pop, rock, hip-hop and dance) is oriented towards young people from junior high school age to 35. Horace Engdahl
Horace Oscar Axel Engdahl (born 30 December 1948) is a Swedish literary historian and critic, and has been a member of the Swedish Academy since 1997. He was the permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy from 1999 to June 2009, when he was succeeded by Swedish author and historian Peter Englund. Biography Engdahl was born in Karlskrona, Blekinge, Sweden. He earned his B.A. in 1970 at Stockholm University; he earned his doctoral degree (PhD) in 1987, with a study on Swedish romanticism, but had meanwhile been active as a literary critic, translator and journal editor, and was one of the introducers of the continental tradition of literary scholarship in Sweden. He is adjunct professor of Scandinavian Literature at the University of Aarhus in Denmark. He speaks Swedish, English, German, French and Russian fluently. ''Expressen'' (''The Express'') is one of two nationwide evening newspapers in Sweden, the other being '' Aftonbladet''. ''Expressen'' was founded in 1944; its symbol is a wasp and its slogans are "it stings" or "''Expressen'' to your rescue". Overview The first edition of ''Expressen'' was published on 16 November 1944. A main feature that day was an interview with the crew members of a British bomber who were successful in sinking the German ship ''Tirpitz''.
