	Lüliang Lüliang or Lyuliang () is a prefecture-level city in the west of Shanxi province, People's Republic of China, bordering Shaanxi province across the Yellow River to the west, Jinzhong and the provincial capital of Taiyuan to the east, Linfen to the south, and Xinzhou to the north. It has a total area of and total population of 3,398,431 inhabitants according to the 2020 Chinese census, of whom 456,355 lived in the built-up (''or metro'') area made of Lishi District History In 2010 the city had a GDP growth rate at 21%; at the time prices for coal were high and the city had an active coal industry. There were plans to build a new business district in Lüliang, and the city's mayor had strongly pushed for the plan. In 2014 the GDP declined by 2%. 	Shuozhou Shuozhou is a prefecture-level city in northern Shanxi province, China, bordering Inner Mongolia to the northwest. It is situated along the upper reaches of the Fen River. The prefecture as a whole has an area of about and, in 2010, a population of about 1.71 million. History The site of Shuozhou was the ancient Chinese frontier town of Mayi (马邑), which was used as a trading post between China and the Xiongnu nomads of the eastern Eurasian steppe. In 201BC, the founder of the Han dynasty Liu Bang (posthumously known as Emperor Gaozu or the "High Ancestor") moved Han Xin from his fief around Yuzhou in Henan to Mayi, where he was attacked by the Xiongnu. Finding himself distrusted by the Han emperor, Han Xin allied with the Xiongnu instead and joined them on their raids against China until his death in battle in 196BC. 	Jin Yinhuan Jin Yinhuan (; March 1952 – October 2008) was a Chinese politician from Shanxi province. Born in Yangqu County, Shanxi province, she joined the Chinese Communist Party in May 1971. She was one of the top Yangqu County officials during the latter stages of the Cultural Revolution. In 1978 she became the head of the Communist Youth League organization in the provincial capital Taiyuan, before being elevated to head the provincial CYL organization in 1985 at the age of 33. She then served as the Deputy Party Secretary of Xinzhou, the Deputy Party Secretary of Taiyuan, and then the Party Secretary of Shuozhou, the highest office in the city. By 2000, Jin took on the post of Secretary of the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission, heading anti-graft work in the province, and was elevated to the party's provincial Standing Committee, in practice the top ruling council of Shanxi.
