Liu Chen (Shu Han)
Liu Chen (; died December 263), the Prince of Beidi (北地王),( 耀年夏六月,立子諶為北地王, ...) ''Sanguozhi'' vol. 33. was the fifth son of Liu Shan, the second ruler of the state of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period of China. Liu Chen opposed the plans of Qiao Zhou to surrender to the opposing force under general Deng Ai from the rival state of Cao Wei. Liu Chen attempted to convince his father to fight for the honour of Shu, so Liu Bei (the founder of Shu) could look upon him as a redeemed ruler of Shu. However, Liu Shan threw Liu Chen out of the court for this. He then went to Liu Bei's ancestral temple and killed his wife and children before committing suicide. Liu Chen is depicted in the Wu Shuang Pu (無雙譜, Table of Peerless Heroes) by Jin Guliang. Liu Chen's story is reenacted in a play of the Yue opera. Liu Chen (physicist)
Liu Chen (; born 1946 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang) is an American theoretical physicist who has made original contributions to many aspects of plasma physics. He is known for the discoveries of kinetic Alfven waves, toroidal Alfven eigenmodes, and energetic particle modes; the theories of geomagnetic pulsations, Alfven wave heating, and fishbone oscillations, and the first formulation of nonlinear gyrokinetic equations. Chen retired from University of California, Irvine (UCI) in 2012, assuming the title professor emeritus of physics and astronomy. Biography Chen was born in 1946 in Hangzhou with ancestral roots in Yuyao. Chen's ancestral family name is Huang (黃), he is a descendant of Chengliang Huang (黃澄量), founder of the Five-Osmanthus Building ( 五桂樓) library, and the great scholar and thinker Zongxi Huang ( 黃宗羲). His great-grandfather, Chengyi Huang ( 黃承乙) was the mayor of Taiwan County, now Taichung City, during the Guangxu period of the Qing dynasty. ...

Lu "Louis" Chen (; born June 25, 1976) is a Taiwanese magician and is credited to be the only Taiwanese magician to perform in Hollywood's Magic Castle, commonly referred to as China's most renowned magician. Lu Chen has worked in television industry for over 20 years and has been considered as an iconic magic figure in the Chinese world. His TV shows has been seen by more than a billion viewers in Asia. In 2011 he was awarded “The Magician of The Year” by The Academy of Magician Arts. He graduated from Soochow University with a degree in Japanese literature. Serena Liu
Serena Liu (born Liu Chen; ; 9 June 1975 – 22 March 2020), also known as Serina Liu, was a Taiwanese dancer and actress. Early life and education Liu started ballet lessons when she was a child and continued for 12 years, establishing strong foundations in dancing. She began to learn ballroom dancing at the age of 18. While studying at National Chengchi University, she continued ballroom dancing. After graduation, under her parents' persuasion, she applied for a job at a bank but ultimately at the age 23, decided to follow her passion in dance and participate in competitions. Career Liu taught dance in appearances on variety and talk shows, before hosting her own television programs and acting in television series. Personal life Liu and Taiwanese singer Shin Lung (辛龍) registered their marriage on 17 May 2014, and held their wedding at Ocean Crystal Chapel in Honolulu, Hawaii on 9 June in the same year.
