Little Yemen
Little Yemen is an ethnic enclave located in the eastern half of Bronx, New York in Morris Park. It is wedged in-between Van Nest and Pelham Parkway. The heart of the neighborhood is located on White Plains Road at Rhinelander Avenue. The Yemeni American Community started growing in large numbers after the war started in Yemen in 2014. Yahay Obeid, Outreach Liaison for the Bronx Muslim Center worked with Google and a journalist to change the name of the area to Little Yemen. There are over 500 Yemeni owned businesses within a one mile radius of Little Yemen, most are Deli and Groceries. Previously, the area was mostly Italian and Latino. The Yemeni American Day Parade has been held annually in Little Yemen since 2019. The first Yemeni American Day Parade drew over 3,000 people, including visitors from numerous states. The Bronx

Morris Park, Bronx
Morris Park is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of the Bronx. Its approximate boundaries, starting from the north and moving clockwise, are Neill Avenue and Pelham Parkway to the north, Eastchester Road to the East, the Amtrak Northeast Corridor tracks and Sackett Avenue to the east and south, and Bronxdale Avenue or White Plains Road to the west. It borders the neighborhoods of Van Nest to its southwest and Pelham Parkway to its northeast. Williamsbridge Road and Morris Park Avenue are the primary thoroughfares. Van Nest
Van Nest is a working-class neighborhood geographically located in the East Bronx section of the Bronx, New York City. Going clockwise, its boundaries are Bronxdale Avenue to the northeast, the Amtrak tracks to the southeast, and Bronx Park to the west. Van Nest predated Morris Park by 20 years and is considered the older of the two communities. Morris Park Avenue and White Plains Road are the primary commercial thoroughfares through Van Nest. Pelham Parkway
The Bronx and Pelham Parkway, also known formally as the Bronx–Pelham Parkway but called Pelham Parkway in everyday use, is a parkway in the borough of the Bronx in New York City. The road begins in Bronx Park at the Bronx River Parkway and U.S. Route 1 (US 1) and ends at Interstate 95 (I-95), the New England Thruway, in Pelham Bay Park, hence the roadway's name. The parkway is designated as New York State Route 907F (NY 907F), an unsigned reference route, by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). Despite the parkway moniker, Pelham Parkway is partially limited access and partially a local street, with two main roadways (one in each direction), and two service roads during the local street section. White Plains Road
White Plains Road is a major north-south thoroughfare which runs the length of the New York City borough of the Bronx. It runs from Castle Hill and Clason Point in the south to Wakefield in the north, where it crosses the city line and becomes West 1st Street of Mount Vernon, New York. The Bronx River Parkway lies to its west and parallels much of its route. Between Magenta Street & 217th Street, White Plains Road is very wide due to the presence of the Gun Hill Road station house in the road's median. An ethnic group or an ethnicity is a grouping of people who identify with each other on the basis of shared attributes that distinguish them from other groups.
