Little Lake Hamilton Little Lake Hamilton has a surface area of . Little Lake Hamilton is bordered by Haines City, Florida, on its north side and is almost bordered by the town of Lake Hamilton, Florida, on its south side. This lake is in places bordered by residences and in other places is bordered by woods and pastureland. It is east of Middle Lake Hamilton and is ironically much larger than that lake. Little Lake Hamilton has no public access along its shores. However, it is part of the north system of the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. It can be reached by canal from Middle Lake Hamilton, but only tiny boats can navigate this canal. The Take Me Fishing website says this lake contains largemouth bass and bluegill. Haines City is a city in Polk County, Florida, United States. Its population was 13,174 at the 2000 census and 20,535 at the 2010 census. It is the third most populous city in Polk County. Lake Hamilton is a town in Polk County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,231 at the 2010 census. As of 2018, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 1,442. It is part of the Lakeland– Winter Haven Metropolitan Statistical Area. From 1964 through the 1970s, Hurricane Aircats, military airboats used by the US Army in Vietnam, were manufactured in Lake Hamilton. Middle Lake Hamilton, is a natural freshwater lake on the northeast edge of Winter Haven, Florida. At one point on the north shore the Winter Haven city limits touches the lake's shore. This lake has an surface area. Middle Lake Hamilton is between two other lakes with Hamilton in their names, Lake Hamilton (Florida) and Little Lake Hamilton. Ironically, Middle Lake Hamilton is considerably smaller than Little Lake Hamilton.
