Little Flowers' School
Little Flowers' School is a co-educational higher secondary school situated in Uttarpara, Hooghly by the river Ganges, near Uttarpara Govt. High School and Peary Mohan College on Amarendra Nath Sarani. It was established in 1981 and runs in two language mediums. The Bengali medium is a primary one and is run in the morning. The English medium which is run as the day section is a secondary school. The school was conceived as a side project of Model Education Society, a local philanthropic and charitable society. It started out as a Bengali medium school and gradually expanded its number of classes and included the English medium section. Its first Principal was Late Prof. Syamadas Mukherjee. Little Flower School in Imphal, Manipur is a Catholic Christian Minority school run by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Imphal. The school was founded and established by the Salesian Sisters, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians on 10 February 1958. School started at 'Nirmalabas'. It is a Catholic school for girls only. History Sr. Cleofe, Sr. Agnes Kurkalang, Sr. Cecilia Doyle and Sr. Mary Mascarenhas started a primary school in Imphal at a small house called "Nirmalabas". Soon a nearby land belonging to R.K. Mangessana the royal family, was bought for the school and was blessed by the late Bishop Oreste Marengo. For construction sisters from Nirmalabas would walk all the way to the site with a tiffin box, and they would remain whole day to supervise the work. Willes Little Flower School
Willes Little Flower School and College is one of the three first English medium school in Dhaka, Bangladesh and was established in 1956 by philanthropist Josephine Willes. The school follows the English version under Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education. The school also provides classes under Pearson Edexcel for students who will sit for A-levels. The school also has a Bangla medium sections. History On 16 January 2016 parents of the students demonstrated against the school raising tuitions. In 2017 Bangladesh Chhatra League opened a unit at the school amid criticism of the move.
