Litex ( bg, Литекс) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Lovech, which currently competes in the Second League. The club was founded in 1921 as Hisarya Sports Club. The club's home ground is the Gradski Stadion, which has a capacity of 8,100 seats, electric floodlights and permission to stage European matches. As one of the successful Bulgarian clubs outside the capital Sofia, Litex have won the domestic championship four times and the Bulgarian Cup on four occasions. Together with CSKA Sofia and Levski Sofia, Litex was also the third football club to represent the country regularly in the European Club Association. Ferario Spasov (Bulgarian: Ферарио Спасов; born 20 February 1962 in Dupnitsa) is a Bulgarian football coach. Managerial career He has been manager of Litex Lovech and CSKA Sofia. From 1 April 2016 he became the manager of Etar Veliko Tarnovo after Boncho Genchev secured the position of chairman of the zonal council of BFU in Veliko Tarnovo. Stoycho Stoilov
Stoycho Stoilov ( bg, Стойчо Стоилов, born 15 October 1971) is a Bulgarian former football midfielder. He is currently employed in an official capacity with CSKA Sofia. Club career Stoilov was born in Blagoevgrad. In his career he played for Pirin Blagoevgrad, CSKA Sofia, Dobrudzha Dobrich and Litex Lovech, making a name for himself with the latter when they won their first two domestic titles in the late 1990s. He reached a Bulgarian Cup final with his hometown club, finishing as runner-up. Stoilov also had a spell with 1. FC Nürnberg in the German Bundesliga. 2021–22 Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria)
The 2021–22 Second League is the 67th season of the Second League, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system, and the 6th season under this name and current league structure. For this season, the league was expanded from 17 to 20 teams, with four teams promoted from the Third League, as well as two reserve teams being added to the league. This makes this season the largest in terms of number of teams competing since the 2011–12 season, when 20 teams competed in two separate divisions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, stadiums were initially limited to 50% capacity, with the spectators also being subject to compliance with social distancing and the wearing of face masks. Since 7 September 2021, only 30% of the stadium could be occupied.
