Lisvel Elisa Eve
Lisvel Elisa Eve-Castillo ('' née'' Eve Mejía, born September 10, 1991 in Puerto Plata) is a female volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who played for the Women's National Team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She also played the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan. There the team ended up in fourth place, and did not qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics. Shortly afterwards Eve claimed the gold medal at the 2008 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup in Mexico as a sixteen-year-old. Personal life She was born on September 10, 1991 in Puerto Plata. She was recruited by the former National Team member Miriam García. Eve is married to the professional baseball player Damian Ismael Defrank Campusano, who played for the Arizona Diamondbacks. 2010 Central American And Caribbean Games
The 21st Central American and Caribbean Games (Spanish: ''XXI Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe, Mayagüez 2010'') took place in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, from 18 July 2010 to 1 August 2010. Bid It was understood that Mayagüez was going to be the only city to ask to hold the games, so that there was going to be no need for a vote in the assembly held in Havana, Cuba in 2004. The Central American and Caribbean Games (CAC or CACGs) are a multi-sport regional championship event, held quadrennial (once every four years), typically in the middle (even) year between Summer Olympics. The games are for countries in Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and the South American Caribbean countries of Colombia, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela.
