Lister Knobbly
The Lister Knobbly is a lightweight Sports car racing, sports racing car, designed, developed and built by the British car manufacturer Lister Motor Company, Lister, which was originally produced between 1957 and 1959. The nickname "Knobbly" came from the distinctive but odd curved design of the bodywork, giving the car a unique shape. The Lister Motor Company Ltd. is a British sports car manufacturer founded by Brian Lister in 1954 in Cambridge, England, which became known for its involvement in motorsport. After buying the company in 1986, Laurence Pearce produced variants of the Jaguar XJS before producing a bespoke sports car, the Lister Storm.
