Listen Out
Listen Out is a yearly outdoor music festival held in 4 Australian cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane since 2013. In 2018, an inaugural alternative version of Listen Out, titled 'Listen In' took place in South Australia and New Zealand. The festival is typically held in late September to early October. Listen Out is a one day event attracting both domestic and international Hip-Hop, Indie, and electronic acts. Listen Out consists of three stages; Atari stage, 909 stage and Third base (formerly Red Bull Crate Diggers stage and Young Bloods stage). Disclosure is an English electronic music duo consisting of brothers Howard (born 11 May 1994) and Guy Lawrence (born 25 May 1991). They grew up in Reigate, Surrey. Nicholas James Murphy (born 23 June 1988), known professionally as Chet Faker, is an Australian singer and songwriter. In 2012, as Chet Faker, he issued an extended play, '' Thinking in Textures'', and signed to Downtown Records in the United States. In October 2012, he won Breakthrough Artist of the Year and ''Thinking in Textures'' won Best Independent Single/EP at the Australian Independent Records Awards. Slumberjack (stylised in all caps) is an Australian electronic music duo consisting of Morgan Then and Fletcher Ehlers. Their 2017 single, "Fracture", peaked at 89 on the ARIA Charts. TNGHT is a musical duo consisting of Scottish producer Hudson Mohawke and Canadian producer Lunice, formed in 2011. The duo released their self-titled debut EP to positive reviews in 2012. They announced an indefinite hiatus in late 2013, until their return in September 2019. Biography Hudson Mohawke (Ross Birchard) and Lunice (Lunice Fermin Pierre II) originally met in 2008, during the first LuckyMe Records tour of North America, when Mohawke performed at the Pop Montreal festival and Lunice played support. Justin Gregory Smith (born January 8, 1978), known professionally as Just Blaze, is an American hip hop record producer and DJ. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Blaze attended Rutgers University for three years before dropping out to pursue his musical career. His stage name was inspired by the character Blaze Fielding from the '' Streets of Rage'' video game series.
