List Of Village Development Committees Of Nepal
Nepal's 77 districts ( ne, जिल्ला) are subdivided into localities known as village development committees ( ne, गाउँ विकास समिति, gāun bikās samiti) and into municipalities. There were 3,157 VDCs in Nepal. District wise list of VDCs (most of the case not updated names) are as follows: As of 10 March 2017, VDCs were dissolved and were replaced by Gaunpalikas. Gaupalikas means rural municipality. Nepal

Ektappa
Ekatappa is a town and Village Development Committee in Ilam District in the Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4,320 persons living in 784 individual households. Education Ektappa VDC is supported by proper education facilities. Ektappa Multiple Campus is only one campus in the VDC which is providing bachelor level education. Singa Devi Higher Secondary School is government school which is providing quality of education in Ektappa VDC. Janaki Secondary School & Janakalyan Secondary School are other government schools which are providing secondary level education. There is a private school named Banasthali English Boarding School which is providing lower secondary level education in English medium environment. Lumbe
Lumde is a village and Village Development Committee in Ilam District in the Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. Lakshmipur, Mechi
Laxmipur is a town and former Village Development Committee in Ilam District in the Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. Previously when Laxmipur was still a Village Development Committee it consisted of a total of nine numbered wards. After the political reformation of the country and being declared as the federal democratic republic of Nepal, Laxmipur was merged with Suryodaya Municipality in February 2017, together with some other villages of eastern Ilam. Laxmipur-1,2,4,8 now became Suryodaya-14 and Laxmipur 3-6-7-9 now became Suryodaya-13.
