Audrey Geisel University House
The Audrey Geisel University House, historically known as the William Black House, is the private residence of the Chancellor of the University of California San Diego. Located in La Jolla, California, it is a historic site that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located at 9630 La Jolla Farms Road and overlooks Black's Beach, the Scripps Coastal Reserve, and the Pacific Ocean. The house was designed by architect William Lumpkins of the adobe revival movement of Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was the first house built in the La Jolla Farms area, and was designed for William H. and Ruth Black who lived there during 1952–67 in what is termed Pueblo Revival architecture style. Marian University (Indiana)
Marian University is a private Roman Catholic university in Indianapolis, Indiana. Founded in 1851 by the Sisters of St. Francis in Oldenburg, Indiana, the college moved to Indianapolis in 1937. Marian was referred to as Marian College from 1936 until 2009, when it was renamed Marian University. In 2013, the university opened the first medical school in over 100 years in Indiana, which was the first osteopathic medical school in the state and the second operational medical school in Indiana at the time. As of 2017, enrollment included 2,431 undergraduate students, 1,164 graduate students, and 650 doctoral students. Marian University athletes have won 45 USA Cycling National Championships and 8 NAIA National Championships: Football in 2012 and 2015; Women's Basketball in 2016 and 2017; Men's Track and Field 60-meter hurdles in 2016 and 2017, and 110-meter hurdles and 800 meter in 2017. Allison Mansion, also known as Riverdale, is a historic home located on the campus of Marian University at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. It was built between 1911 and 1914, and is a large two-story, Arts and Crafts style red brick mansion with a red tile roof. President's House (University Of Georgia)
The President's House, also known as the Benjamin H. Hill House or the Grant-Hill-White-Bradshaw House, was erected in 1856 in Athens, Georgia. The mansion has served as University of Georgia president's residence since it was donated to the University System of Georgia in 1949. John Thomas Grant constructed the house in 1856. Benjamin Harvey Hill, who served in both the House of Representatives and United States Senate, acquired the house in 1876. Later, James White, founder of the First National Bank of Athens, purchased the property in July 1883. However, his daughter, W. F. Bradshaw, inherited the house upon White's death during the same year. The Bradley Foundation of Columbus, Georgia, acquired the property from Bradshaw's estate and in 1949 presented it to the University of Georgia as a home for its president. President's House (University Of Florida)
The President's House was built in 1953 and served as the primary residence for every University of Florida president until 2006, when President Bernie Machen chose to relocate to a private residence off campus. It was replaced in 2015 with the Dasburg House which is the current residence of the President of UF. It was re-named Earl and Christy Powell University House. The facility now is open to UF organizations and groups that want to entertain, meet or hold a retreat there. Gallaudet University ( ) is a private university, private University charter#Federal, federally chartered research university in Washington, D.C. for the education of the Hearing loss, deaf and hard of hearing. The F Street House is today a historic 19th-century mansion in Washington, D.C., blocks away from the White House, that serves as the official residence of the President of the George Washington University. It is a registered landmark on the National Register of Historic Places and was previously known as the Steedman-Ray House, Alexander Ray House, and as the F Street Club.
