Shopping Mall
A shopping mall (or simply mall) is a North American term for a large indoor shopping center, usually anchored by department stores. The term "mall" originally meant a pedestrian promenade with shops along it (that is, the term was used to refer to the walkway itself which was merely bordered by such shops), but in the late 1960s, it began to be used as a generic term for the large enclosed shopping centers that were becoming commonplace at the time. In the U.K., such complexes are considered shopping centres (Commonwealth English: shopping centre), though "shopping center" covers many more sizes and types of centers than the North American "mall". Other countries may follow U.S. usage (Philippines, India, U.A.E., etc.) and others (Australia, etc.) follow U.K. usage. Deira ( ; Old Welsh/Cumbric: ''Deywr'' or ''Deifr''; ang, Derenrice or ) was an area of Post-Roman Britain, and a later Anglian kingdom. Wafi City
WAFI is a mixed-use development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The complex includes a mall, hotel, restaurants, residences, and a nightclub. The "city" is styled after Ancient Egypt. This themed environment includes columns reminiscent of Karnak, small pyramids, and images of pharaohs. The walls are the colour of the light brown stone that can be found on structures in Ancient Egypt. Wafi Mall The main feature of Wafi is the mall, called Wafi Mall. Opened in 1991, the mall includes over 200 stores. Wafi Mall features glass selected from mosques and temples across the Islamic world. E 11 ( ar, شارع ﺇ ١١) is a highway in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The longest road in the Emirates, it stretches from Al-Silah in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and ends in Ras al-Khaimah emirate, running roughly parallel to UAE's coastline along the Persian Gulf. The Ibn Battuta Mall is a large shopping mall on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, UAE, close to Interchange 6 for Jebel Ali Village. Dubai Festival City Mall is a shopping mall in Dubai Festival City, on Dubai Creek in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It was originally opened in 2007, but expanded in 2017. The mall includes IKEA (the first in the UAE), Carrefour (formerly a HyperPanda supermarket, the first hypermarket outside Saudi Arabia), Ace Hardware, and the Robinsons Department Store from Singapore, opened in March 2017. The mall fronts onto a former marina, now called Festival Bay and used for regular nighttime "IMAGINE" sound and light fountain displays. The Palm Jumeirah is an archipelago of artificial islands on the Persian Gulf in Jumeirah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is part of a larger series of developments called the Palm Islands, including Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira, which, if completed, will together increase Dubai's shoreline by a total of .
