List Of Rivers Of South Ossetia
There are many mountain rivers in the territory of South Ossetia. The majority of them belong to the Kura (Caspian Sea), Kura drainage basin which flows into the Caspian Sea, the remainder are part of the Rioni River catchment which flows into the Black Sea. The Rachinsky Ridge, Rachinsky and Lihsky Ridge, Lihsky ridges act as the water divide, watershed separating the drainage basins into these two seas. South Ossetia
South Ossetia, ka, სამხრეთი ოსეთი, ( , ), officially the Republic of South Ossetia – the State of Alania, is a partially recognised landlocked state in the South Caucasus. It has an officially stated population of just over 56,500 people (2022), who live in an area of , on the south side of the Greater Caucasus mountain range, with 33,000 living in the capital city, Tskhinvali. Only Russia, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Nauru, and Syria recognise South Ossetia as a sovereign state. Although Georgia does not control South Ossetia, the Georgian government and the United Nations consider the territory part of Georgia. Suramula
The Suramula ( ka, სურამულა) is a river in Khashuri Municipality, and a right tributary of the Ptsa, itself a tributary of the Kura. It starts at the left slope of Likhi Range, above sea level, and runs a length of . The basin is . This river is nourished by rain, snow, and groundwater. Tilian Pearson (born July 12, 1987), also known mononymously as Tilian, is an American singer-songwriter, musician and record producer born in Clearwater, Florida. Since 2012 he has been the third clean vocalist for the post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance. Pearson began his music career as the lead vocalist and guitarist in the progressive rock band Tides of Man, releasing an extended play and two studio albums before leaving in 2010.
