Erling Kroner
Erling Kroner (16 April 1943 – 2 March 2011) was a Danish people, Danish trombonist and bandleader. Kroner was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, but gained music education at Berklee College of Music in Boston during 1969–70 and 1973–74, though he played professionally as early as 1961, amongst others in Germany in the Dixieland Stompers. Kroner shortly after played avantgarde music, with saxophonist John Tchicai, and rock in Melvis & His Gentlemen. Beginning in 1967 Kroner played formed his own group, which remained in existence for the rest of his life, and which primarily was a quintet or tentet. During the 1970s Kroner played in Norddeutscher Rundfunk, NDR's Big Band in Hamburg. From 1973 to 1986, Kroner was also a member of the DR Big Band and played in Leif Johanssons orchestra and Lasse Beijboms band – White Orange. Jakub Kroner (born 1987) is a Slovak filmmaker. His second feature film, '' Lóve'' (2011), became the box office number-one Slovak-language film of the year in his home country, while ranked the third highest-grossing ever since the independent Slovakia. Janko Kroner
Janko Kroner (born 1 June 1956) is a Slovak film, television and stage actor. Once a regular cast of the Slovak National Theatre, Slovak National Theater (SND) (1987–2009), Kroner began his acting career as part of the New Scene (1982–86). In the mid 1990s, alongside staging for his home theater, he gradually began appearing in a local VA-based ensemble called a.ha. Theater, a.ha. In the most recent decade, he has been known as the frontman of the Malá scéna Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, STU, a body supervised by Kroner through 2010-2011. As a member of the Slovak acting "dynasty" that span three generations to date, Kroner himself has received numerous nominations in his native country, including two LitFond Awards for Performing Arts in Drama, as well two television-focused ''OTO Awards'' as OTO Award for TV Male Actor, TV Male Actor, respectively. Jozef Kroner (20 March 1924 in Staškov – 12 March 1998 in Bratislava) was a Slovak actor. His brother Ľudovít Kroner, daughter Zuzana Kronerová, and wife Terézia Hurbanová-Kronerová were also actors. He starred in the Oscar-winning film ''The Shop on Main Street'', and in more than 50 other Slovak films, as well as in several Czech, Bulgarian and Hungarian productions. He never studied acting; his career started in amateur theater troupes. His biography ''Jozef Kroner's Tracks'' (''Trate Jozefa Kronera'') was produced by director Fero Fenič in 1987. __NOTOC__ Richard Kroner (8 March 1884 in Breslau – 2 November 1974 in Mammern) was a German neo-Hegelian philosopher, known for his ''Von Kant bis Hegel'' (1921/4), a classic history of German idealism written from the neo-Hegelian point of view. He was a Christian, from a Jewish background. He is known for his formulation of Hegel as 'the Protestant Aquinas'. His Jewish ancestry led him to be 'suspended' (dismissed) under Nazi legislation in 1934, from his university position at Kiel. He was replaced briefly by Hans-Georg Gadamer, a personal friend. The American philosopher Otis Lee studied with Kroner for the academic year 1933–1934 and helped him escape to the United States and find a new academic position at Manhattan's Union Theological Seminary. Tobias Kroner (born 16 October 1985) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Germany. Speedway career Kroner began his British league career after he signed for Oxford for the 2005 Elite League speedway season. He struggled during the season but switched to Ipswich Witches the following season where his form began to improve. In 2007, he remained with Ipswich and made his Polish league debut for Orzeł Łódź in the Polish Speedway First League. He then joined Wybrzeże Gdańsk, with whom he reached the Ekstraliga. After four seasons with Ipswich he would have one more season in Britain riding for the Belle Vue Aces during the 2010 Elite League speedway season. He continued to ride in Poland, racing for Ostrów Wielkopolski and Wanda Kraków.
