Shaban Gashi (1939–1990) was a Yugoslav cinematographer and photographer. Biography Born in Prizren, Shaban Gashi began as a photographer at the age of seven and after finishing high school he enrolled at the film academy in Zagreb Zagreb ( , , , ) is the capital and largest city of Croatia. Lazar ( sr, Лазар, russian: Лазарь), also known as Lazar the Serb or Lazar the Hilandarian (fl. 1404), was a Serbian Orthodox monk-scribe and horologist who invented and built the first known mechanical public clock in Russia in 1404. The clock, which also struck the hours, was built at the request of Grand Prince Vasily I of Moscow (r. 1389–1425). Prior to his arrival in Moscow, Lazar had served as a monk in the Serbian Hilandar monastery at Mount Athos. The clock tower was located in the palace behind the Cathedral of the Annunciation. Matej Krasniqi (1763 - 1827 or 1829 ), also referred as Matteo Granisch or Matthaeus Crasnich, was an Albanian Catholic cleric, who served as Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Skopje from 8 March 1816 to 1829. Katë Dulaj ( sr, Ката Дулај, ) (9 November 1923 – 29 April 1969), known by her artistic name Katarina Josipi-Kati, was a Yugoslav actress of Albanian ethnicity. She performed on stage, and in radio plays, film, and television. Early life Katarina was born on 9 November 1923, one of four children of Gjin Dulaj and Gjyste (Prekpalaj) Dulaj, Mark, Lazer, Kati and Pal. Her family came from Tropoja and settled close to Prizreni, then in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Katarina Josipi began her education there, and continued it in Niš.
