Roman Catholic Archdiocese Of Goa And Daman
The Roman Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese of Goa and Daman ( la, Archidioecesis Goanae et Damanensis, gom, Gõy ani Damanv Mha-Dhormprant, pt, Arquidiocese de Goa e Damão) encompasses the Goa state and the Damaon territory in the Konkan region, by the west coast of India. The ecclesiastical province of Goa and Damaon includes a suffragan diocese, the Sindhudurg Diocese that comprises the Malvani areas of (central Konkan). The Archbishop of Goa also holds the titles of Primate of the East and Patriarch of the East Indies, also hold the title of the Syrian Catholic Primate of the Archdiocese of Cranganore. Tivim
Tivim pronounced Thivim, is a village in Nathivim in Bardez, in the North Goa district of Goa, India. It is an important gateway into North Goa as the home to the major railway station in North Goa. Porvorim (pronounced ''Parvari '' ), is the ''De facto'' legislative and executive capital of the state of Goa, India, as both the Goa Legislative Assembly and Secretariat are functioning from the same complex in the region of Alto Porvorim in porvorim.(Alto – Portuguese word meaning high or upper). Guirim
Guirim is a census town in North Goa district in the Indian state of Goa. For administrative purposes, however, it is considered to be a village, and has a village ''panchayat'', which is the local administration of a village in parts of India. Guirim is located on the outskirts of the North Goa main commercial town of Mapusa (also spelt as Mapsa or Mapuca). Cunchelim or Kucheli is a village in Bardez taluka, in the district of North Goa, in the state of Goa in India. Geography It is located at at an elevation of 14 m above MSL. Bastora
Bastora is a village in North Goa, India. It is located on the outskirts of Mapusa town. Reis Magos is a village located on the northern bank of the Mandovi River in Bardez, Goa, opposite to the capital city of Panjim. The village is famous for two of Goa’s famous structures; the Reis Magos Fort, and the Reis Magos Church – the first church in Bardez. Reis Magos is the Portuguese name for the Three Wise Men from the Bible.
